Terrible customer service and food. We have to wait for 50 mins to get our food. It came out cold and right out of freezer. The thing happened to one more family sitting behind us. Because of the terrible experience, we had to start our trip one hour late and without breakfast.
Do not recommend this place at all!

I love the atmosphere here! My girls and I love going here for our afternoon coffee time together.
Now they have lunch, dinner and coffee. Great dinner! Great staff!

This is my favorite spot to get a sandwich and coffee! Their online ordering makes it so easy to walk over and treat myself (way too often). Love this place!

Great food and solid service. I especially appreciate the variety of teas and coffee they offer. Great if you like bagels and toasted sandwiches as well.

This place used to have the best sandwich in town (Nor'easter), and for some reason they got rid of it. I've tried their coffee (espressos/lattes) a few times and every time it has tasted bunt and made me feel terrible for the rest of the day; headache and upset stomach. They have been friendly enough, but I think they still have a bit to learn about roasting coffee. If you need a sit-down coffee shop in Riverton, this is your only option, but I'd recommend getting a tea.

Driving from Mt Rushmore to San Francisco (home), stayed the night in a certified roach motel. Even my son just about rebelled and slept in the car with the dogs. Anyway being a coffee snob and expecting to have leaves, hearts and smiling panda bears drawn in the froth of my lattes in the bay area I did not expect much from this place. Shocker!! This place could hold court amongst the blue bottles and four square roasters of the bay. Its freaking GOOD!!! The roast is not burnt, that smoky quality in their roast is amazing, its rich and perfectly balanced. It is truly unpretentious gourmet coffee. Cheers to my new mates at Brown Sugar!!

The food was delicious! And the blueberry scone is amazing! It was just a little bit of a wait but definitely worth it.

Normally, I would never write a negative review even if I had a poor experience. However, this is a special case and I feel obligated to share my experience.
I came into Brown Sugar Coffee Roastery in early February when taking my dog to the vet in Riverton. I had heard good things about BSCR online and wanted to stop in to give it a go. The coffee was good and the conversation was pleasant. When I went to pay, the WiFi had gone out and my card was not running. I wanted to leave, and perhaps it was naive of me, but I wrote down my card number so they could charge it for my coffee once their system was back up. I left, happy, and didn't think anything about leaving my information as I would have done the same thing in Lander.
The next month, I was going through expenses and saw that Venmo had charged my card twice for things I was unfamiliar with. One charge was for $200 and the second charge was for $100. I called my bank and I called the Venmo customer service line to figure out if I had done something and just did not remember. Venmo advised me that someone had used my card number to pay themselves from their account. After I called the bank, they advised me the charges happened within a few hours of giving my information to the BSCR. They were able to dispute the charges for me.
I called the coffee shop once discovering this and spoke to a very helpful employee that said that she would give my information to the manager and that the manager would call me as soon as possible. It has been over a month since calling them and leaving them messages but I have not heard back from them. I am very disappointed in the whole experience and will not be returning.

The atmosphere is wonderful! The food is fantastic! My kids who do not like to try new things, loved this place. Amanda, the owner, is great!

I've been a home coffee roaster for over 10 years and coffee shop coffee is usually a big disappointment because the coffee beans aren't freshly roasted. Technically, coffee is only truly fresh for about 16 days after it is roasted. After that it begins to absorb oxygen which changes the chemistry of the bean and it becomes more acidic. We stopped in here because we needed to use Wi-Fi for work and this place has awesome reviews. I grabbed an Americano because I wanted to taste the coffee instead of the flavorings. It was an excellent cup of coffee, the beans were freshly roasted and it showed. Probably the best coffee shop coffee I've had in many years. Thank you!
