The staff is incredibly sweet and welcoming to everyone. The outdoor seating is comfortable and has a nice mix of shade and sunny spots throughout the time I was there. The coffees are delicious and all of the food looks incredible. I am grateful that the patio is dog friendly. It's really cool that the have a pay-it-forward program as well.

Great people, great food and great vibes.

Everything about this place was amazing. Staff were so great and chatty, the vibes were on point, and it is clearly a safe space for me, and my friends, and my partner. They had delicious VGF options on the menu, and great books, too. And the restrooms had the best signage 💕

Cute little place with a comfortable vibe.
They have all of the alternate milks for those with dairy allergies. Pastries are yummy, we had a cookie and a Pain Au Chocolat.
The Finch smoothy was good as was the last milk latte.

I often forget Night Heron because I am not a coffee drinker, so when we go, it is for their breakfast burritos, which I would argue are the best ones in town that are handheld rather than smothered in a green chili. Add a world-class pastry and you're probably overstuffed until dinner.

Today I went for lunch for the first time and Night Heron has suddenly launched to the top of my lunch list after the best soup and salad of my life. Don't sleep on this gem like I'd been.

The small bookstore atmosphere alone is worth a visit if you are new to Laramie. Oh, and I hear the coffee is great too.

I was visiting Laramie from out of state and Night Heron came highly recommended. I'm glad I went! I didn't stay long, so I didn't have time to try the food itself, but I did have a pastry that I enjoyed alongside a matcha. Great and friendly service and I appreciated being surrounded by books. I could see this being a nice space to stay a few hours in!

I've been there twice in the two days that I've spent in Laramie. That's to say how much I loved this place! The mix of a second hand bookstore with a café is lovely. Different kind of people visit, either to read a book or work, or both!

Had the veggie, potato and egg burrito topped with sour cream and DELICIOUS salsa and it was yummy yummy. Didn't take a picture before eating it haha.

Oh and the tea selection is amazing (I can't comment on coffee because I don't drink any.)

Expansive, multistory, multi-business bookstore, coffee, and food stop. Try their smokey Bison panini! You'll want to get 2 it is sooo good. 😋😋
When you're done throwing back a great cup of coffee, or tea from their extensive list, climb a ladder and browse a ton of books! Not impressed? Head upstairs for more, still not finding the right one, pass through a door into the next business over, which is another 2 story bookstore! 🤯🤯

I always come to Night Heron when I need a pick me up. It’s a lovely little cafe that is also a secondhand book store. They also sell art from local artists and it’s just so lovely. Definitely one of my favorite places in town.

Two things that can always make me happy are tea and books! I enjoyed browsing the books while drinking my tea. The staff was very friendly. This is definitely an excellent place to rest and relax either before or after a day of shopping or hiking!

An astoundingly comforting space with AMAZING food. Tbh it's been a looooooong while since I found a good coffee shop like this. Who knew I'd have to move halfway across the US to find it??
