Has to be the best place in town to enjoy breakfast. Lots of food for a great price with great service!

The green chili is the best I have ever had in a restaurant. The breakfast burrito was outstanding. The special was the hangover, it was wonderful. The pancakes were the biggest I have seen in a restaurant. The staff is phenomenal also. Great choice of meals.

Very inexpensive place. Mom and pop restaurant. Outside seating. Great place to stop in at.

17th Street is as the name implies...
At first glance, I thought,,, "Oh BOY."
However, the sidewalk snow had been shovelled, the windows were clean, and was immediately greeted upon entering. Our crew supervisor was already seated. I ordered the French toast combo... Watched the Chef cook it. Wow . It came out neatly arranged on the plate and looked great... Eggs were perfect... Nothing runny... The toast had a hint of cinnamon, and was delicious. Bacon was nicely crisp... The boss had hotcakes... They were equally well prepared... The waitress was attentive and the cook even smiled at us... Was a great place to have breakfast at 0630... No where else in town is open that early...save one. Orders came out quickly as well .. will definitely stop again...

I've been getting the breakfast burrito here for years, and it's still my favorite menu item! The rest of the menu, especially the omelettes, are great as well. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The food is served about 5-8 minutes after ordering, and I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes even when every table they had was packed. It's a great local breakfast cafe, but it's my favorite one!

We were passing through but stopped here because it was busy on a Saturday morning. There was good reason for that as the food and service were very good. Everything was prompt and reasonably priced. I will be back next time on our way through Laramie!

Stopped at this cute cafe on our way through Laramie. The location is clean, the staff were all very kind and the food was delicious. Classic small town wholesome diner vibes. Everything we ordered was great, don’t skip the green chili, you’re welcome😉

Many moons ago I remember this quaint little restaurant as the Rainbow Grocery.

But, that was a long time ago when I lived in Laramie.

Today, it serves up breakfast, brunch, and "Laramie's Best Burrito," which I had when a couple of friends invited me to lunch here.

Now, I don't know if the burrito I had was "Laramie's Best," as I'm sure lots of places in Laramie serve-up burritos, and I know I haven't tried them all.

But it was certainly excellent.

It contained some hash browns, bacon, scrambled eggs, etc., and a not-too-spicy chili to cover it. Mmmmmmm.

Would I recommend this cafe? Absolutely. It has both an indoor and outdoor seating area. You can't go wrong. That is, unless you get confused and take your food outside when it's three degrees and snow is piled up 16 inches on your table.

Are the prices fair? Sure enough, even though I didn't have to pay for mine :-). Besides, I didn't see anyone taking out a mortgage to pay for the meals.

Was the food good? No, it was excellent. Kudos to the chef.

And as I told Aubrey, our waitress, the burrito was "unique," and the best on our table (if not in Laramie).

You'll have to decide for yourself by giving it a try. But I doubt you'll be disappointed.

First time here a d it's very good. We had breakfast indoors and it was a lot.of food. I had the 3 stack pancakes and sausage patties and both were very good. I could not get through the 3 stack like I usually can. These were bigger and thicker but soooooo good.

Wife had the biscuits and gravy one of her favorites and she want disappointed either.

Ambiance is light and the staff attentive. Outside seating is available and we will try that the next time.

We got there early and were the only ones in on a Tuesday morning but as we were finishing others were coming in the door.

I recommend 17th St Cafe for breakfast for a nice quiet tree lined retreat for breakfast.
