My brother and I went to Kemmerer to eat at the Scroungy Moose but he was backed up with orders so it was a 40 minute wait which we declined, we then tried to go to Rosie's pizza but they were closed and catering a private party, so we went to the Caribou Cafe and it was fantastic. My brother had a Patty Melt with fries and I had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. The service from this beautiful young woman with an incredible hairdo who was just stunning gave us multiple refills of our drinks and the other lady who brought the food was nice too. The food tasted great. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The owner was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Amazing decor with a hometown feel. Highly recommend the food as it was very well seasoned with a great drink selection to boot.

This is where we went to say goodbye to our dear friend Matt Beach, everyone was very welcoming and his memorial was wonderful, saying goodbye was hard but it was good to have other friends there that loved him too especially for my son Steven Brian Haworth. Thanks for everything and all your help as we had traveled from Rock Springs. God bless you all

If they weren’t so weird about their hours and actually had it listed on Google what days and times they’re open now it would be 5 stars. I prefer this place over place on pine but now I can’t eat here during lunch.

We came here expecting to be turned away due to very specific dietary restrictions, and we could t have been welcomed more warmly! Every single staff member, from the manager to the cook and wait staff, bent over backwards to make sure we had what we needed. They were extremely kind, understanding, and accommodating. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the ambience was so cozy and relaxing. If you are looking for a wonderful place to eat a top notch meal at an affordable price, you have to stop at the Caribou Cafe! We will be stopping every time we come to Kemmerer! We can’t sing their praises enough!!

Caribou Cafe is in the space formerly occupied by Adimiah's, which we were sorry to see go, but we now enjoy Caribou's spin on made-from-scratch classics. Our waitress, whose name I've since forgotten, was very professional and thanked us for our patronage, both in person and on our receipt. The only criticism I would give is that if you're going to serve French onion soup, melt the cheese instead of serving it with cold cubes. Interior is nothing fancy, but given time, and $$, that is bound to change. Kemmerer is a tough town for restaurants, but we wish Caribou all the success they deserve.

The food was delicious the service was superb. I would suggest this place alone for that. The garlic fries were to die for. My only gripe was the cost but we all know that due to inflation which everyone is dealing with there is nothing you can honestly do.

It was delicious! I went there a few times and tried multiple dishes. My favorite was the open faced hamburger steak sandwich with fresh (real) mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn. Might I suggest if you're there, to save room for one of their savory desserts such as the delicious apple pie, or my new personal favorite, the strawberry rhubarb pie! Excellent eating at an affordable price. Please don't forget to tip your wait staff as well.

Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. Food took over 45 minutes to arrive, people who ordered after us got their food before us, my hubby ordered over hard eggs and medium steak and got runny eggs and an extremely well done steak. Overall very great people, not great that it took so long to get the wrong food and 100% not worth the price.

Great service, and after a week in the back country I was really craving a salad. Their salad was crisp, cold, and delicious. The crispy chicken on it was great. Good beer selection too.
