Smiling Moose Deli / BurgerSear (Gillette)

If I could give this a negative review I would! I can't believe how the teenage boys that work there talk to the young ladies calling them crude names. Not an enjoyable experience to watch! Its unfortunate that the boys think they had the power to degrade anyone do to the management allowing the way these kids talking to one another.

Had the Mountain Club and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten in a restaurant, staff was terrific:)

This review is a hard one to write.... normally their food is great...however on this day it was a larger order to go that was placed online. When I got to the storefront they weren't busy and the guy at the cash register was very arrogant. He was talking to what I would assume to the manager like she was trash...telling her how he would only do this or that and he complained about his social life and that she didn't give him the right hours and NEVER shut his mouth the whole 20 plus minutes I was in there. I order 4 sandwiches each had specifics and all of them were wrong...wrong bread, wrong toppings something. $50 plus bill I was so sad to deliver to my son school for his birthday lunch...yes I called to complain.

Third and finale try for the smiling moose. First two attempts were far short of their steep price range for mediocrity. This time, the same. $11 for a wrap called the mother load was about equivalent to a $6 wrap any place else. Again I feel cheated and robed. So I am satisfied I can cut this one off the list for good. Five people in the whole place and the floors and counter tops were a disaster. I do not recommend this place to my worst enemy! No wonder no one is ever here. P.S. the food tasted like old dirty fridge and the lettuce was rust colored. Garbage!

Great sandwiches and wraps. Service has been iffy lately, seems slower than they used to be to get food out and on one recent visit they forgot to make my salad (I asked after waiting for 25 minutes and seeing several people behind me in line receive their orders). They did give me a cookie to make up for it though so I can't be too mad.

Drove through Gillette planning to stop for lunch at Jimmy John's but saw this place. Great menu. Our family ordered 2 KC smokehouses, 1 Carolina smokehouse and 1 Dude Ranch. All 4 of us weresmokehouse. The employees greeted us and were very helpful answering questions about the menu.

Food was pretty good BUT was WAY TOO expensive. A regular size sub (6 inches) will not fill you up and it’s over 8 dollars. To even get enough food you have to “make it Mighty” for an extra 3.50!!! That’s almost 12 dollars WITHOUT tax and not even including a drink or chips. Wayyyyyy to expensive.

The food was very good. The staff was extremely rude. They were taking only cash today and their math was sketchy.

We used to go here quite regularly but not in a long time. There hamburger stackers were very good but our waffle fries were cold
