Lariat Cafe

My husband and I and 3 grandchildren loved eating breakfast. Pleasant atmosphere and conversation with waitress was helpful in planning a trip to SD.

Heard this was the best in town, I don't think so. The place is dark, dingy and dirty. One waitress trying to take care of multiple tables. Got our food right away but it wasn't spectacular, but it was good. I think you can find better in Gillette.

Wonderful place to dine. I visit regularly and the waitresses are always lively and welcoming. The food is good, comes out quickly and they are always willing to fix an order if there is a mistake. One of my favorite places to go.

Great chicken fried steak and great waitress.

I had the meat loaf special. A very generous portion with tasty carrots and served with mashed potatoes covered with dark brown gravy. The server was very friendly. Lariat Cafe make incredible tater tots.

Everything Michael Reed said (I am his wife). Upon arriving home from our road trip, I found the receipts and was surprised to discover another error. I ordered the nachos, just chips and cheese (extremely salty chips, plus the cheese was poured onto the chips and was barely warm by the time we received the food). We were charged for "super nachos (NOT SUPER)" at $10.95. If I recall correctly, it should have been more in the $5-7 range.

Your "canned" response to the many negative reviews is duly noted, but it would be nice to know specifically what actions/further training will take place to ensure that this series of errors will not continue.

The service was really quick, sweet and friendly. That's what the stars are for.
Portions are tiny and our food was bland and eggs came out cold and rubbery. I've never gone out for breakfast and left hungry... Until today.

Best food ever!!
