If you can’t stand cigarette smell not the place for you. We sat ourselves and took 10 minutes to get our menu. I ordered the breakfast burrito. Absolutely the worst breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. My boyfriend ordered the wrangler burger. The meat was over cooked and not enjoyable. Also awful survive!!

My husband had a chili burger it was ok I had a fish sandwich and tater tots. I was horrible. Fish was way over cooked so there was much fish to eat and tots were also way over cooked there were a lot of them and I could only eat 3 cause they were so hard. Complained to waitress she said sorry but didnt offer to bring a replacement but took of $2 of bill but I shouldn't have had to pay for it at all cause I sent back about 85% of my meal

I eat here breakfast lunch and dinner have been for almost a month now cause my husband is here on business working with the power company here along with many others and they all eat in the cafe as well as staying in the hotel we will be in town until after December and all the guys with our company has brought to my attention that we are being charged almost 3$ for just drinks some have even stopped going down! When you call downstairs to put in a order to go never get a answer on the extension, also have to wait forever on some nights depending on who is working and I have seen one lady that has worked by herself and handle it really good and better than the ones that work with 2 people, but other than the one lady most of the time you have to go look for the waitress that is on the lounge side smoking! Food is good and stuff is friendly just need to improve in some area’s!

The staff was friendly but when we got there, we waited at least 15 minutes for them to “find menus.” The men who came out of the kitchen, I can only assume we’re the cooks since they weren’t serving or taking orders, were dressed messy and not like someone I’d want to cook my food. Once I had received my food it was cold. The butter on my French toast and my son’s pancakes wouldn’t melt, the eggs and hash browns were cold, my daughter’s pancakes were doughy and my other daughter’s burger was just slightly warm. Our waitress did apologize and took off $2 for the trouble. It was only $2 because she was only able to take 10% off each meal.

Fast service and huge portions. We had lunch and breakfast selections. Pancakes were large and thick. Polish Potato soup was tasty. Denver omelette was loaded with ham. The hot roast beef sandwich was great.
There is a hint of cigarette smoke, but not in the restaurant side. The entry way smells of smoke.
The restroom was clean.

It's a good place but they just take long to take your order if you order a burger you have to build it but it's a good place highly recommend it

I was craving an Indian Taco and wasn't sure where to find one off I-90 headed West. Google brought me to the Lariat Cafe and I'm glad they did. Yummy Indian Taco..my husband had hand cut fries with a Reuben sandwich. The bread waa great but the corn beef was a little tough. Thw kindest waitress in Wyoming! I would go back.

Not so great. It’s a greasy spoon if you want that. Hash browns were drenched in oil. Bacon was good. No one else open on Labor Day and we were passing through. We could smell the smoke from the bar.

The waitress was friendly, but was much too rushed between the lounge and restaurant to provide adequate service. I was told that they had "great chefs working tonight" and had hoped for some decent food. Unfortunatey, the fries were raw inside, steak tasted freezer burned, was not cooked to order, and had no seasoning - maybe one of those dollar store steaks? Also served as a vegetable was a simple boiled canned corn also with no seasoning. no cooking skill required there.
I have children who began coughing from second hand smoke that was wafting into the dining area from the adjacent lounge through the open doorways to the shared kitchen.
I politely said things were OK the first couple times the waitress asked, but could not hold back when i tasted the raw fries. The waitress told the cook staff my thoughts on the steak and fries and because the door to the kitchen was open. We could hear the cook using some some colorful language as he and the waitress argued back and forth.
I was offered a discount on my steak which did appear on my check, but on the same check they also charged for 3 beverages that we did not order...i pointed this out and it was corrected, but it made me wonder if they were padding the bill to offset the discount.
All said and done. Im certainly not impressed and would not recommend.
