You get your money's worth. As the waitress said, "nothing's small here". Texas Toast Patty Melt. This behemoth of a sandwich has two very large strips of thick cut bacon cooked just the correct amount of soft and crunchy. The burger is a traditional patty melt in all other aspects of the expectation. It is accompanied with a very generous serving of cooked to perfection fries. The small orange juice is a large at most restaurants in most states. I didn't have room for pie ala mode. I only ate about 2/5's of the sandwich and asked for a box. And still had fries to go.
Uber cool little hole in the wall in a town that if you blinked you would miss it, really good food but the best part were the homemade pies, to die for. We were introduced to it by a local friend who is very familiar with the area.
Two of my kids said it was the best cheese burgers they've ever had. For me their burger was right there at the top. I think the one I had was called the Rustler. So freaking tasty. Great family place in a tiny dot on the map. The staff is awesome. Super friendly. If you're on your way fromS.D to Devil's tower this is place is worth skipping all of the bigger towns to visit.
No a great burger but not a bad on either. 1/2 pound but too pricey....$9.25 for a burger? Then add $1 for lettuce, tomato and onion and pickle? Too much...but, it was nice to support the local places. Nice folks running the restaurant. We ate outside so we could keep our dog with us. End of the season so it looks like business has slowed down. It's about 35 miles from Devil's Tower...a beautiful drive to get there!
**Under new management October 2021** Hubby and I had the pleasure of happening upon this cafe over Memorial Day weekend. Such a quaint restaurant and the service was top notch, truly above and beyond!! BUT 👏🏻 THE 👏🏻 FOOD 👏🏻 Yowza did we enjoy our meals, so much we went back the next day. 📣 GET THE BACON 🥓 AND DON’T FORGET THE PANCAKES 🥞 Sooo good 😋♥️ Wishing the lovely couple running the place the best of luck

Very good home made half pound mushroom and onion burger, and onion rings. A little pricey, but worth it. Excellent service!

Went for Sunday breakfast. Their biscuits and gravy were excellent but even better was the service and conversation.
