Food was very tasty but steak was small, overcooked on outside and undercooked on inside. Salad bar was unattractive, browning lettuce. Portions were also small for price.

We arrived in Afton around 9PM and stopped at Colter's Lodge to find a room and have a bite to eat at Valleon's as we had been on the road a long time. Our waitress, Aspen, suggested Lazy B down the road as we weren't able to stay here. The experience with their Staff at this restaurant was exceptional and their food was very, very good. I had French Onion Soup which was the best I have had in a long time and not over salted. My Husband enjoyed FISH and Chips which was very tasty and had a crispy and light breading. We also returned for Breakfast and again both Staff and Food were outstanding. Their Bisquits and Gravy is the best. We will definitely eat here again !

Wonderful place for breakfast inside Colter's Lodge. Pretty much all the normal breakfast items with their own twists. Prices very fair. Coffee excellent, all the food was served hot so really enjoyed it. Small counter area in addition to table service. Off street or on street parking available. Probably best if your not in a hurry. Service was great but everything did take time.

Let me start by saying we gave this place two shots. We came in for breakfast and they were under staffed. It took over an hour to get our food, and the food we received was underwhelming. We figured it was just a bad day, the following day we came in for dinner hoping our experience would be better. Unfortunately it wasn't, we got our food a bit sooner and the service was mildly better. The food on the other hand was worse. I've had better beef jerky than the "top" sirloin I had. One of the others in my party ordered chicken alfredo only to be told minutes later the sauce was bad and that she'd have to order something else. She opted for the soup and salad bar, the salad looked like it was out all day and the soup tasted wretched. So if you want poor food than this is your place, if you are self respecting then choose somewhere else to eat.

Valleon Cafe, now under new management, has really delivered. Amazing food from the appetizers, salads, soups, rolls, and main dishes to the dessert. What an amazing option for the valley to have! Everything was cooked to perfection and we will be regulars for sure! Thank you Valleon for an amazing meal and service. 😊

The food was great, the service was some of the slowest we ever had...

Great atmosphere, excellent service and the food was on point. I got the PB+j Burger with jalapeno candied bacon. It was a symphony of flavors dancing delicately a Ross my pallet. It's funky in all the right ways. Highly recommend stepping out if the box for this one.

When going to Afton the food is not what you are there for. This is good food. It is good service, it is a little difficult to find from the road, no real sign. I had the pulled pork sandwich, having lived in the south I ordered Cole slaw to go with it so I could add it on top, a pickle would have been great as well, plus extra bbq sauce. Like I said you don't go to Afton for the food options. Good place.

I've had lunch here 3 times. On the first 2 visits, they were "out" of the entree I ordered, as well other items. That was inconvenient, however the 1 star rating is because at each visit, my food tasted old as if it was past it's "best by" date and should have been tossed. Limited options and over-priced too.
