Bella Goose Coffee - Cafe on the River

Almost a great coffee shop. Stopped here hoping to find a place to work for a few hours. The location is lovely with big picture window views of the Wisconsin River. Coffee was quite good and the food was fresh, fast, and tasty

Unfortunately even though the shop was fairly quiet, empty tables were left uncleaned and covered with crumbs and syrup. The bathrooms were poorly lit and not particularly well cleaned. My biggest issue was that they had no working Wi-Fi and didn’t seem particularly concerned with fixing the issue.

With some better management this could really be an excellent coffee shop.

Great experience! Got the bacon breakfast sammie, and it was like quiche on a biscuit — delicious! We also got a side order of rosemary potatoes and they were perfectly cooked and seasoned. My partner got the seasonal Flannel latte (maple syrup and cinnamon) and it's very aptly named. Cozy and warm! Great view of the water as well!

We tried the Bella Goose waffle and avocado toast with a latte and OJ for the drinks. The latte and OJ were great and the waffle was so delicious! Definitely try one of the waffles. The avocado toast was tasty and healthy, but tbh it wasn’t an avocado toast, it barely had any avocado lol. BUT we had a good time there and everything was delicious.

Wow. This exists in Wisconsin Dells? Why would anyone go to Starbucks? Great Lattes, lunch and gluten free baked goods! Plus a cool view of the dam.

A must stop coffee shop. The cheddar bacon breakfast sammie was outstanding and the cinnamon roll AMAZING. The honey cinnamon latte was one of the best I have had.
Great coffee, delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. Can’t wait to return.

This place was amazing! My family and I are from NJ and were fully surprised and satisfied with the quality of everything. The staff is so kind and the food is TO DIE for!! Wish I had one of these closer to home! ❤️❤️

The views of the waterfalls while sitting inside or on the outside deck are well worth a visit. The cappuccino breve was perfect with a creamy texture and served in a glass cup. A few interesting pastries and a menu for other options. Nice ambiance, low noise level that encourages conversation without shouting and an attentive staff.

Update 05/08/2023: I have been testing coffee shops in Wisconsin for their ability to make a traditional cappuccino. My first visit to Bella Goose was amazing but the possibility existed that it was just an aberration. My return trip was on a gray, rainy day that needed an uplifting experience. The barista took my order and was knowledgeable and friendly. I waited a short time and was presented with the cappuccino and cinnamon roll in the picture. The cappuccino was perfect. Rich foam, just the right temperature and excellent coffee. The cinnamon roll had obviously been baked that morning and was fresh. Lots of flavor and topped with a swirl of cream cheese frosting. Overall, a wonderful experience on a rainy day. Highly recommended.

Some of the finest roasting we have found in a few states. We make frequent trips and look for good roasters wherever we go. They also have a selection of gluten free goodies including scones. The seating is limited so plan on being there early or waiting in line. They have two locations and they need a third that will seat 50 -100 people. They really have a good thing and could really put a mark on the map without having to try hard.

We swung into Bella Goose for a coffee during our road trip and were so impressed! The staff were extremely friendly and our drinks made quickly! Most importantly, they tasted fabulous! I tried the Honey Cinnamon latte, definitely recommend👌🏼
