Lakewood Cafe

Fantastic small town breakfast place! Super friendly service. Homemade jelly comes automatically with your toast. My friend had the bakery fresh raisin bread. Yum! Super clean restaurant and restrooms.

Have done here numerous times with my husband and we love it!!! Food is always great as well as the service.

Cheesburger and fries were very good and hot, good coleslaw, my wife had half hot beef with mashed potatoes and bread, it was good but luke warm. We will try again. Very good service and reasonable prices

One of our favorite things when we go camping is stopping by the Lakewood Cafe for one of our breakfasts! The food and service are great and the portions are hearty! Highly recommended!

My family and I have been coming to the Cafe for over a year since we moved to Winter, and every is absolutely delicious. But I have an issue with the service we receive from a certain waitress who seems to not be polite and courteous. I have been waited on twice by this particular waitress and I always feel uncomfortable and I don't feel like I want to spend my money in this place when someone can be so rude to myself and my family. We basically order the same meal every time we come in but when she is here, there seems to be an issue with a certain item we order for breakfast.

OMG!!! The eggs Benedict were as good, if not better than what I have had at a fine dining restaurant. $9.99.....so worth it.
They were also serving caramel apple French toast!
Stuffed cabbage rolls on the dinner menu for tonight.
Very clean, everyone friendly, exceptional service.

I go here all the time and love it. Food is always great. However, today I had the worst waitress I’ve ever had in my life. She was slow, not trained and had no idea what she was doing.

Instead of taking a table’s order and getting it back to the kitchen, she went table by table for drink orders. As more people came in, she kept people waiting and just kept taking more drink orders.

Then, instead of taking a table’s order and running it back to the kitchen, she went table by table and took everyone’s order. So, she ended up slamming the kitchen with 20+ orders all at once.

45 minutes in and she’s still entering orders on the computer that she doesn’t know how to work.

She shouldn’t be a waitress.

Been here the last 2 morning, both times the food was great

5 stars for the food - it was fantastic!! 3 stars for the service - it was good but took us over an hour to get our meal and didn't get a drink refill until we were served. It took 2 us 90 minutes to have lunch - 11:30-1:00. But, again, the food was fantastic.

Great homemade food, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and a very cute and clean place!
