wanted try try this place out since it just opened.
The food was decent but holy cow is it expensive. The gyro you see here and a soda was $18.99 + Tax & Tip.
Gyro came with a soup too -- asked for clam chowder and was brought chicken noodle. Not the end of the world but still frustrating.
Fries were cold and no ketchup was brought to the table. I was asked later If I wanted ketchup but it was too late.
Gyro was good but there are better places in West Bend for that.
Probably won't be back.

We ate here for the first time last Sunday. I had the Trio Skillet with a side of pancakes. What I was most excited about is that they have gluten free toast and pancakes!! It isn’t very often that I get to have pancakes when eating out so thank you so much Good Day Cafe for having that option! My son also was very excited to have crepes and loved them! The staff was also very friendly and our waitress did a great job! I can’t believe it took us so long to try it out!

I like to see new restaurants opening in the area. We waited a while to eat here so they had a chance to break in so to speak.
But I'm not particularly thrilled with this one. Mostly it was the service. Food was good (though a bit pricey in my opinion). Best thing we had was my wife's spinach and feta omelet. Wheat toast would have been great had it been buttered when it was toasted. Instead it came out cold with butter on the side that had zero hope of melting. None of the fruit in the fruit cup was that great. Mostly not ripe yet.
Service - One of my criteria for a good breakfast place is do they keep you in coffee. We got a full cup when we sat down. Never saw the waitress again until she bought our food. Even then with empty cups I had to ask her as she was walking away for more coffee (which we got of course). She never came back until we were done eating and grabbed my plate and ran off. I tried to catch her eye a number of times to get more coffee, but she ignored me. She was never particularly pleasant either.
Plus the 3.5% upcharge for credit card use, which was actually put on the bill BEFORE I even paid (I assume they would have removed it had I paid cash). Given that the prices on the menu were already fairly high.. hmm. I do not mind paying a bit more for a great breakfast (Golden Nest for instance).
3.5 stars for the food but 1 star for service. I won't be returning.

Sub par at best for our experience. Toast was not toasted. Red potatoes were not cooked all the way. All 3 of my over easy eggs had a hard yolk. Skillet had more grease then anything.

Food was amazing! Best breakfast in West Bend. Interior was nice and clean. Food was wonderful. Portion sizes were well worth the price. I can’t wait to come back!

Excellent service, great atmosphere, quality food. Stephanie was our awesome waitress. Property was very clean inside and out. Chicken orzo soup, chicken tenders(actual real strips of tenderloins), turkey BLT, and fries were delicious. Zero complaints about this place. West Bend must be a tough crowd to please given the low ratings bc our experience did not reflect poor reviews. We’ll be back for breakfast with the kids!

Initial :20 minute wait to sit down. Acceptable. :15 minutes to get acknowledge table side. Another :10 minutes to get coffee and water. 40 minutes later, no food. Order wasn't even turned in. UNACCEPTABLE and left. Table next to us waited a long, long time just for their check. In observance of our surroundings, food in general was minimal coming out of kitchen. Staff is busy, but very inattentive and doesn't acknowledge or check back. Seems to be no management awareness. Oh well.

Great food and friendly service. We love the way they have the interior set up with different little rooms, so extra noise is blocked, and it is easy to have a conversation. The Greek skillet is amazing, and the pancakes are incredible!

Food was okay the first visit but much better the second visit. The waitress was very nice and attentive but the older lady that greeted us was kind of rude. She replied with “sure” like it was an inconvenience when we wanted to order drinks.
