Coco - Artisan Bakery & Good Eats

Best soups in the area. This a great bakery and an even better cafe with a wide variety of eclectic sandwiches and soups that can't be beat. There can sometimes be a bit of a line, but it's worth the wait.
They also have a huge variety of desserts and sweets. While they all look amazing, they aren't always as satisfying as they look. Don't get me wrong, they are good, but if they tasted like they present... I might be quite a bit fatter.

Excellent home cooked and baked items. I had blueberry cream cheese french toast for breakfast and took a few delicious cookies to go. My wife had a great selection of gluten free items, all baked in house. Very good coffee too. Will stop again next time we are up this way.

Do yourself a favor and go get breakfast here. It’s excellent.

First visited a few years ago and returned just last week. My wife loved the baked goods. A bit pricey for everyday breakfast, but certainly a treat on vacations. I wish I didn’t live 10 hrs away - we could visit more frequently!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch while on vacation in January. He has some unique dietary restrictions, and the owner and staff here did a wonderful job working with him to put together something he could eat! I think everyone working at the time chimed in with a suggestion or substitution! Thank you for going the extra mile--or in our case, I think it might be miles. ;)
And after all that, the food was delicious! We certainly plan to eat here again the next time we're in the area.

Amazing cranberry bread. Delicious food. Will go back any chance I get. The kids menu offered a "Grilled cheese"- when my son opened it he discovered there was also egg in the middle to which he happens to object.
They kindly replaced the grilled cheese at no charge. Great service. I personally tried the grilled cheese with egg and found it delicious.

Huge assortment of delicious baked goods. The cinnamon rolls were delectable! A must-stop when in Washburn.

Ate lunch here today and it was delicious! It took a couple tries to reach them by phone, but it was worth it. Loved the turkey sandwich with pickled onions and apples and the lake trout reuben. The pumpkin chocolate chip bread pudding was yummy!

Coco was an awesome resturant/bakery/coffee shop to visit! I went here with my 9 year old and we got pastries (cinnamon roll and strawberry turnover) and I got coffee and he got milk. They were so nice and patient even though they were really busy! The next day I went by myself to get coffee and pastries for the three of us. I got another cinnamon roll, rhubarb turnover and a caramel roll as well as two coffees and a milk. Even though it was early and they were VERY busy, the waitress remembered me and told me to take my time and was really attentive. The caramel roll was AMAZING! Everything had crisp edges and tender centers!

Excellent food. Seriously, everything we had was great. My parents have been coming here for a while, my dad gets Czechoslovakian Rye bread (or something like that) and it's incredible. I had falafel, it was great. Good vibe, line goes quickly. Stop here - you won't be sad.

Wow! We stopped for some treats on our way to catch the early morning ferry to Madeline Island. I'm a bit of a cupcake addict so we picked up a couple of cupcakes, a slice of peanut butter pie, and some pumpkin bread pudding. All were delicious. Would love to try some of the "real" food when we're in the area again.
