My mom and I came up to Door County for a girls weekend. Being one of the only coffee shops to be open we didn’t know what to expect. But from the time you step in the door you are greeted by kind and friendly staff that are hustling. They’ve created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a cozy loft that has couches and multiple tables overlooking the bay. You also won’t be disappointed with the drinks. We opted for Lattes with their HOUSE made syrups. These were full of flavor and not sugar - extremely delicious! They offer milk alternatives as well (coconut, oat, etc) and try to accommodate everyone. They also make your good standard breakfast sandwiches but I got to enjoy the chocolate croissant. Nothing fancy but definitely tasty! They also have pastries that come straight out of the oven as well or locally made muffins (gluten free!). Stop in and give them a try!

To my husband's and mine delight, we found this gem in the town that seems to hibernate till spring. The coffee is delicious and is served in regular porcelain cups for inside or disposable cups for to-go. They also have a wide selection of milk substitutes (coconut, almond, hemp, etc.) and tasty baked goods (can't keep myself from drooling when thinking about that warm and puffy chocolate croissant).
The baristas require a separate mention, as they were very friendly and welcoming.
A cup of cappuccino is $3.25 (around 4 dollars if you ask to replace cow's milk), which is very liberal compared to the price of mediocre coffee in Chicago.
Whether you are staying in Sister Baying or just passing by, be sure to give Skip Stone a try (be mindful, their working hours are from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm).

Cute coffee shop with good coffee!

They have a good range of food and drink options.

Lots of indoor seating options as well as some outside seating. They have a great location on the main strip in Sister Bay.

They do close a little early (12:30P). I was sitting outside a few minutes after closing and I saw at least 2 different people walk up hoping to buy coffee.

Edit: And 2 more groups walked up…by 1:00P

Amazing cute place. I order a cortado and it was amazing. I'm Colombian and it's hard for me to find good coffee. This coffee was one of the best. The place is adorable and the service was amazing. However be patient because they are low staff.

Wondered in looking for a coffee after waking up from hotel dor. This place is awesome! I mean the pour over coffee was fantastic, the egg and cheese sandwich was out of this world. Had a chocolate croissant as a kicker to share and it was great. The barista is absolutely fantastic. Honestly, I’ll come back and visit sister bay just to visit this place and Al Johnson’s.

What a beautiful, HAPPY and authentic coffee shop in Sister Bay. This is the first time I've stopped in; I asked for their recommendations on beverages to try/what they are known for. They did not disappoint! They said they make ALL of their syrups and flavorings in-house AND partner with a local roaster called Kick Ash Coffee. I usually order straight coffee but today I tried their Pecan latte and the Caramel latte - flavorful, sweet (but not too sweet) and deliciously frothy. LOVE it. I also grabbed a shot of espresso to taste the beans in one strong hit and it was great! No bitterness, it was tangy, and smooth. Very delicious and the baristas were so helpful and happy. They also have a loft for additional seating with a happy fireplace and plenty of table space. There are a few outlets on the wall to plug in for some laptop/charging time. They also have patio seating outside accented with their iconic stacked rocks and landscaping. What a wonderful morning ! Thank you!

Adorable coffee shop!! It's a MUST to check out. They have a great menu and their cortados and lattes are delicious. Highly recommend you check it out when you're in Door County. 🥰
First time going to this one and we will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful and calm space with delicious food and drinks. The barista was very nice and knowledgeable. I had a pumpkin muffin and turkey sandwich with an apple cinnamon chai latte. I love a good upstairs loft at a coffeehouse, and the one at Skip Stone is beautiful.

Great cafe to grab a coffee and start the day! I recommend their featured flavors, my favorite is the Pecan Latte. The staff is hardworking, kind and know how to make a nice latte :)

Was warmly welcomed by the staff member who helped me get setup so I could do my online work there during the entire morning. Peaceful atmosphere and great coffee! I will stop in every chance and strongly recommend to others.
