We've had several batches from Coffee by Gillespie, and it is incredible the breadth of flavors that are brought out in the coffee. I'm used to the disappointment of tasting a new coffee and immediately discovering that they are overpoweringly acidic or have that burnt character; not the case here. With all of these coffees there has been a great combination of richness offset by sweeter notes.
I opened a bag of the 1517 Roast for a pour over this morning, and it was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. I look forward to working my way through the rest of the types I have not tried, but I think 1517 is one just to have on hand.
