Beautiful place to get plants and flowers from and a very helpful staff. It was a pleasure to enter the greenhouse and also be informed of there was a plant we wanted, just to ask and they would pot of for us too.
Nice place, good selection. It's been an interesting Spring for many garden centers, as the pandemic has created a plant pandemic as well, with people buying many more plants this year than in previous years. While great for the businesses, it's been tough to find some things in stock at many places. No fault to the businesses, of course! What they do have at Village Gardens was healthy, and the service was great. I'm only in the area for work, but will certainly return to Village Gardens the next time I'm in town.
I am relatively new to the area and found this gem located very close to my home. They offer beautiful and healthy plants and flowers and unique accessories, not to mention I can get ice cream while I'm shopping. Dawn and her team are always kind and so helpful. My containers look amazing.
We had bad experience here. While finishing picking out items in the shop our young child knocked down an item and cracked it. Before we could address it a young worker grabbed it from us and said, “I’ll take that”. When this happened, we were carrying around approximately $75 in items we planned to buy. We also assumed we were going to pay for or offer to pay for the item our son accidentally knocked down. Before we finished shopping the worker returned and told my wife to pay damages or buy the broken sphere. We then left to pay for only the broken item. While trying to pay for damages and leave the interaction with the owner/manager was bad. She was on the phone, then very rude and lacked any awareness of how to manage a situation like this. She was complaining to us and confrontational about her always taking the short end when people broke things.
We left upset and insulted. Instead of leaving and buying several items, including the one we broke. We did find another nursery nearby and had a great experience there. I recommend spending your money somewhere else where it’s appreciated.
It is truly a place of knowledge customer service personnel, beautiful plants and baskets, and a beautiful grounds. A picture perfect spot for weddings and very special events. I love shopping their selection of healthy plants.
I visited in May and found a Moon Flower plant. I planted it in a pot and as of last night I have had 81 big, white, beautiful flowers. Still more buds!
Love Village Gardens so much! Great containers, super selection, and terrific pots and fountains. I've purchased two fountains and they add such a lovely sound to my garden.
