As soon as you walk in, you are going to fall in love with the old school house. The sitting area is super cozy. If you stay to have your bakery or coffee, you'll get that hometown feeling. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I can say the matcha is fantastic. The bakery here is always fresh and full of flavor. My favorites are the real blueberry bread and the raspberry lemon cupcake. They also make AMAZING cakes for any occasion. Like the one posted for my son's wedding.

A cute and quaint coffee shop on the south side of Oak Creek. Hillside is a wonderful little gem set in a beautifully restored schoolhouse. Their coffee selection is quite impressive for a mom and pop coffee shop. And what's more impressive is the amazing pastry and sweet treat assortment. Everything I have had here is so light and full of flavor that you will want to come back again and again. And you will have to because their selection changes daily. The staff is so sweet and accommodating you will feel like you are having coffee in a friend's living room. The ambiance of the building is wonderful as you get to take a peek in the past with the walls adorned with school photos from a century ago, making you realize the history that happened in this tiny piece of Wisconsin. A place to get a coffee and to relax, something we all need from time to time.

Their bakery items were all so good its hard to choose! I am always more then satisfied with any food item I get here. The coffee is also really tasty! The inside has a cozy nice atmosphere, I would definitely recommend stopping in! The only downside is the parking.

Very cozy cafe with meeting space and historical significance to the community. If they add a few more savory gluten free options they'd be five stars in my book! Oh and improve parking for the winter months.

Such a wonderful spot to grab a coffee and a pastry, or freshly made breakfast sandwich. I’ve gone several times and each time the owner greets us with a smile and a cookie for each kid. They have a great fresh bakery selection - including gluten free choice! Some of the best cakes I’ve had in a long time have been from here. The barista bar is good too - I’ve had coffees and smoothies from them. They always take the time to make sure the drinks are prepared correctly, and check in to make sure you are satisfied. Inside is nice and relaxing, but they have to-go options as well. Great to have a local shop in town!

Coffee is some of, if not the best, in the area. The food is made fresh in house and they use local farmers for their fruit. Definitely worth a try, and they're not going to rip a hole in your pocket either!

Such a cute little place to get coffee. I'll admit I felt nervous going in because on the outside it looked quiet and ordinary, however it was amazing inside! I loved the atmosphere! The employees exceptional and so helpful! And the coffee was so delicious! You can go with a basic brew or something more fancy. We will be going back!
