I have been in absolute love with their ground dark chocolate mocha ever since my first sip. The tasting session was an enjoyable, intimate experience with the Valentine family. Highly recommended if you are committed to higher standards of coffee.

Milwaukee has an amazing coffee culture. There are a handful of God-tier coffee places in town and Valentine is one of them. The staff are incredibly kind. I can’t wait for the West Allis location to open up.

Great coffee. They roast their own. A definite stopping point for us when we're in Milwaukee. Amazing flavor combinations. Mayan spice Latte is full of surprises. Dark chocolate sea salt Mocha is rich and smooth.

I visit Valentine at least once a week and always happy with my visit. You have to be patient when they're busy in the mornings when they are doing a fresh pour over. They always accommodate any questions and always deliver with the best coffee in Milwaukee!

They take coffee seriously here. Milwaukee roaster headquarters. No mass brewed coffee. Want a cup, it is handed poured only. And the coffee was great. On street parking. Clearly a local hangout. Small but well appointed interior. Great selection of beans.

I LOVE this place!!! The coffee is perfectly roasted. I really enjoy the pour over style. I'm completely addicted.
In addition, the staff at the Vliet location are the most fun and friendly folks I've ever met.
I feel right at home here!

Quite possibly my first time at Valentine Coffee, I'm not sure. What I am sure of is the awesome service and atmosphere we experienced at this location. The 3 baristas were all super friendly and fun. Our visit was during a slow time of day and my wife and I chose our beverages based on the staff's recommendations. I had a Peruvian coffee and my wife has a blueberry decaffeinated tea. Both were delicious. We watched some World Cup on their TV and enjoyed the vibe. I'd go back if it wasn't so far from home.

I love going to this place. The quality of the coffee is excellent, and the service is always excellent too. Since they make all their coffee with pour overs, you should not show up hoping to grab a quick cup of Joe and leave, except in the morning when they keep drip coffee out and you can just drop your money in a can and go! All in all I find this the epitome of an awesome neighborhood coffee shop and roaster.

I’m updating my review after four years. Valentine is still my one stop for coffee. I can’t speak for the in-store beverages, but the quality and consistency of the ground coffee is second to none. I make cold brew coffee, and I have never had an issue with the coffee from Valentine. The baristas are very friendly and helpful and they clearly know what they are doing. They are also very accommodating with regards to the current situation of social distancing etc.
