Great cafe with great coffee and amazing nitro cold brew!

Awesome nitro cold brew coffee flight! Intense flavors and all of them were delicious.

Received the Storyteller blend from a friend. Enjoying it from the Chemex as I write. Great!

Pilcrow uses Indulgence chocolate in their Mochas and oat milk for ND option. Fantastic coffee! Plus a friendly, open atmosphere and staff. That said there were two issues I had. One was that they did not have a dark roast option for beans (buying by the lb) which is not a huge deal for most, but a factor. The other though: they do not have wifi. Which I know sounds like an age old first world problem, but has come to be expected in most cafes nowadays (especially in a fairly urban downtown area).

Tldr: good coffee and atmosphere, no wifi. Solid experience over all.

One of the best cups of coffee I have had in MKE. Nitro coffee was delicious as was the egg nog nitro and mocha. Nice setting and the owners were very pleasant to talk to

If you like good coffee, this might be one of the best spots in the city. Espresso was bright and delicious. Of course we also came for the nitro cold brews. A bonus--barista was super friendly

Hands down the best latte I’ve ever had! So smooth, not bitter, not scalding hot when you get it. We can’t stop thinking about how great it was. The service was also super friendly.

Short hours but great coffee. One of the best roasters/shops in Milwaukee. One of the few that explores nitro and tap options for cascara, cold brew, and kombucha.

By far some of the best coffee in Milwaukee. If you are a connoisseur of the black gold, this should be your next stop. Best nitro cold brew outside of Canada.

Came in with questions today about the Kalita Wave brewer. Sam was super helpful with insight and how to brew explanations. Definitely one of the experiences I’ve had in MKE coffee shops. Come in and have great coffee and conversation.
