Great national award winning coffee roaster! They've won a national championship for espresso, so I recommend you first grab a couple shots first! The tasting room is only open Saturday and Sunday, but there are a few shops that serve their coffee week-long. This is one of Milwaukee's best coffee roasters!

The nation voted best espresso..But let me tell you, their sweet and creamy nitro brew latte is the best thing you’ll ever drink. It’s incredibly smooth and delicious from front end to back end and followed through the aftertaste. Bless yourself today, let yourself be better by drinking their coffee.

This is my favorite coffee place ever. I recently moved out of Milwaukee after living there for 7 years...and this is the place I will miss.
The service is welcoming and warm. All of the baristas are knowledgeable if you are curious about anything coffee related. The nitro coffee and other coffee drinks are incredible.
Go there as many times as it takes for you to try everything, and then just keep going back.

I enjoy their nitro cold brews. The hours of this coffeeshop are laughable. We'd give them our business 10x more too but they aren't even operational during the week. It's a shame, and I've taken my business elsewhere. I'll still snag a pour here and there at a farmer's market if they've got the bike set up there but I'm not seeking out a weekend coffeemaker.

Beautiful light filled space with amazing cold brew coffee. Try the root beer float cold brew - actually tastes like root beer float in a bottle.

If you like good coffee, this is your place. Their focus seems to be on spreading their love of coffee instead of making a profit. Fantastic variety, quality, and hospitality. In a city with a lot of coffee shops, this takes the top spot for me.

Pilcrow coffee had the best nitro coffee in town. The barristas are always knowledgeable and friendly, and every coffee I've had here is amazing. It's not somewhere I recommend for spending long amounts of time or getting work done, but it's great for trying new coffee or espresso and getting an excellent coffee tasting experience. Seating is limited so be careful if you come with groups. Also, the nitro flight is the best thing you will ever drink.

Great addition to MKE coffee scene. The shop is minimalist designed and bright. The highlight, of course, is the coffee. Currently sourced from African countries, they have a great array characters to choose from. As a recommendation, I'd say try one of their NITRO brews. Have to say though I have an inclination towards simple - espresso- the NITRO was a really pleasant surprise : smooth, sweet flavor. Most definitely worth a try!
