Wonderstate Coffee - Madison Cafe

My coffee tasted oily and off. It was clearly good coffee though, so I think I just got one on an off day. Also not the easiest coffee shop to work in, there are almost no outlets and the chairs are pretty uncomfortable and the table is a little wobbly. On the other hand it gets great light and stays relatively warm.

Everything that I look for in a coffee shop!
-Great coffee with house made chai and their syrups are made in house too.
-comfy seating
-friendly service
-bonus! their food is soooo good, especially their vegetarian options. The vegan lox bagel is delish!
If you haven't checked it out, I highly recommend it.

The store was clean, bright, and inviting. Coffee was great and service was quick! We had an iced latte and cold brew. Not overly busy and friendly staff.

Average coffee shop. The employees were nice enough. My maple latte did not taste like maple.

Nice place to relax and have a bite and coffee across from the beautiful view of the Capital. Be careful of the Avocado toast. Made me gassy the whole day. I’m assuming because of the chili garlic oil they put in.

My go to, tried and true. Wonderstate is as good as it gets for espresso, light breakfast, and lunch. Always fresh and delicious food, delightful staff, and INCREDIBLE COFFEE! Everything they produce is quality and a great value for the price; Usually $5-$10 for breakfast, $10-$15 for lunch, and typical espresso prices for the best espresso in town. I’ve never once had a complaint and always feel welcomed back as a returning customer. Huge praise to the staff for being so awesome!
