steep and brew West is a nice coffee shop.

The staff is very friendly and the service prompt. Product assortment is good… And the pastries are delicious. (Madison sourdough? )

I had a redeye (espresso shot with House, coffee)… Very tasty. And Keith had chai tea… He said it was good. I like the fact that patrons are allowed a cup that they can refill at their convenience from the large crafts that are kept full of four different coffee flavors.

The inside of the shop is small… But importantly, the small makes it feel cozy, more than crowded, and the space is warm and inviting. Many small tables… And even some very comfortable high back chairs that are upholstered, which invite people to sit and chat or read a book… Most excellent. They also have a heater that is a faux fire… Artificial, but still interestingly, comforting and lovely.

parking is easy as it is at the market Square shopping center.

prices are very reasonable… The only weird thing that I encountered was the fact that if a patron wants to add a tip to their bill, they actually need to tell the cashier server what the tip amount is before the bill is calculated. This is really weird, and I don’t like the fact that I think it limits or constrains how customers, give tips to the to the service staff. I hope their management realizes this is unfair to the staff… It is a complexity that is somewhat uncomfortable to customers as well.

What a GEM!! We just discovered this wonderful place as we were running errands and are so happy that we did! We were dazzled by the excellent and friendly service, delectable pastries - we shared a slice of almond cake and a cinnamon roll and they were exquisite - and the fabulous Jamaican Me Crazy coffee and Icing On The Cake decaf, which were both outstanding! Plus the cafe itself is lovely and the outdoor seating perfect on a beautiful day like today! Thank you - we’re new to this area and live fairly close and plan to come back often!

I love coming here and just relaxing. The coffee is delicious and the constant variety of new delicious baked goods has made my jeans snug 😊. The staff are super friendly and very welcoming.

Great atmosphere, service and coffee/food. They also take a person interest in their regular customers and genuinely care about them. ( I over heard positive chatter about the lady who always drinks a mocha) . I was impressed and I'll be back next time I'm in Madison.

Great coffee shop! I brought a big group of high schoolers here after an event a few weeks ago, and the service and drinks were wonderful! The barista, Liz(?), was very patient and made sure everyone in the group was taken care of. Thank you!

Don’t be me and wait 20 years in-between visits to this place. Reasonable prices, friendly service, great coffee. Love their books and coffee accoutrements as well. Thanks Liz!

A spacious coffee shop with unique drinks and a variety of coffee brewing item for sale. One of the few places I've been that serves white coffee. I would reccomend trying the orange cappuccino.

Very cozy seating areas and nice for meeting up with friends, but unfortunately the coffee was disappointing. Milk was burnt and improperly steamed while the coffee had a lot of bitter overtones.

I been here a.few.times....the coffee is usually good.
The Chai tea however wasnt.
Not spicy at all which is what chai.tea.should be.
Very bland.very lame
