Barriques - Monroe St.

We spent over $30 on three meals for our family here. The sandwiches/ wraps were pathetically small and left so much to be desired! Wouldn't recommend the food portion of this "chill cafe" to my worst enemy! (We ordered the Turkey avocado sandwich, the BLT wrap, and the grilled cheese for our kids to share)

I used to live in Madison and travel here every year from OH for vacation with my family. Barriques is my coffee house away from home. I like that I can come here to get my favorite caffeinated drink and purchase my favorite sushi wine to take back home.

You will have to pay a $5 fee to drink wine in the store. But that said, the coffee is good and alcohol selection is surprising. I'm an avid fan of both the location and the shop.

This place is a mess, sometimes it's great but most of the time not so much. Customer service is lacking and the coffee is never the same. If i have to wait 10 min for my latte it should taste good, not like watered down milk. Will not be wasting my time here anymore.

Barriques coffee is always the best. I like to order silly, complicated drinks, and they always do an excellent job with my order. It's always my first recommendation when people ask where to get coffee.

Large booths are great meeting spots. nice menu selection, fun selection of wines/beers/whiskey's by the glass. Awesome wine/spirits selection.

Coffee is okay. Espresso drinks tend to come overfrothed. Food’s generally not worth ordering. Space and location are nice though!

Much bigger than you'd expect. Food was fast, fresh and delicious. Love the coffee and the homely feel. If you're in the area you should give this place a try.

Great coffee shop atmosphere for work or fun. Also has good food and a killer wine selection. Sometimes has wine tastings.

Kind, thoughtful service. Able to grab a table for a few hours without a feeling of being rushed. Wine and beer selection in back is also amazing to bring home or drink on site after work.
