This is my go-to coffee shop on Monroe street. The baristas are friendly and know how to make good espresso drinks! I love that they also have a great variety of wine! On Tuesday they have a buy 2 special. We recently attending a virtual wine tasting, which was fabulous!

Love their iced Mexican mocha in the summers! Perfect balance of sweet, spice, and coffee. Also great, their chocolate toffee cookie... Aaand! Awesome whiskey collection. Honestly, their curbside pickup has gotten me through this pandemic summer.

really great place to meet with friends to study and work. I've had a fairly wide array of their drinks and have enjoyed every one. always had pleasant experiences with staff.
food plates are pretty small but pretty tasty. prices are a little high but very worth it for experience and atmosphere.

All in all a great shop I love variety of wines... The coffee was outstanding. But the sandwich I ordered was a bit bland. Not terrible... Just could've had a bit more zest for the price. Breakfast was very good. Thank you Barriques we'll see you soon.

They make great espresso, one of the better espressos in Madison. Decent places to sit, nice staff, good all-around coffee shop.
Never tried their food - remembered the wine being pricey.

Had a delicious chorizo breakfast wrap with a cup of their medium roast coffee. Clean place with good service. Also a great place to pick up a decent bottle of wine, some beer, or a bottle of liquor for your next outing. Will definitely be back when in the area.

There are a lot of coffee cafe and coffee roaster options in Madison these days, but there's really no place like your neighborhood Barriques. Their coffee is roasted locally, reasonably priced for an artisan, small batch roaster. And their expertly curated wine and liquor sections with easy to understand tasting notes make it simple to find the perfect beverage for your next meal. Don't pass any of their locations up when looking for the right experience and pick-me-up.

We came in on a cold, snowy day for some hot soup and a place to study. The soup and sandwich were good enough, but they are a disappointment if you consider the price versus the quality and quantity. The bowl of soup would be considered a cup in most other places. Panera has better and more food at a lower price. Barriques is a little nicer to study in.

I have been a wine of the month club member for a few years, enjoy their wine tastings from time to time and stop here for coffee on the way into work.
I was shopping for the holidays and was incredibly pleased with Wendy's recommendation. I bought a case of red based on her recommendation and can't wait to open the next bottle. My request was "something not too expensive that will appeal to anyone." She knocked it out of the park.
