Lucy's Family Restaurant

On a Sunday when the restaurant was scheduled to close at 2pm, we arrived at 1:20pm. That would seem to be enough time for staff to serve a couple and still leave at the normal time. We weren’t greeted so we asked if we could sit anywhere. Eventually someone came over to give us a carafe of water and menus and told us our server would be there shortly. When she arrived 3-4 minutes later, she never greeted us or told us her name. She instead said, “Are you ready to order?” The food was good, but service with a smile goes a long way. Also, more patrons came in after us so I doubt the server actually left when she thought she would!

Great staff and atmosphere, reasonable price. Food is diner quality, I'm a real cheese guy so omelets with Velveeta is a No-No.

Best pancakes EVER!!!

Breakfast was very good, some very nice Breakfast specials, Pancakes were loaded with blueberries and strawberries and whipped cream. Was served fast and hot. Waitresses were friendly.

Great place! The staff is abundant, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our food was hot and delicious. Will definitely go back!

I saw this restaurant on the side of the road and it just seemed like I was ready for this one. I walked in and sat at the counter. I ordered the scrambled skillet with bacon. And it came with the option of French toast and of course I'm getting that. Soo good no denying how tasty with the best flavor combinations I got the holidais sauce on it, but I could have gotten cheddar cheese, ifn ida wanted to. Water was nice crisp and refreshing. Staff was on it. Aware of what was important above other things. I would go back, ifn I was ever back there.

Lucys is my favorite breakfast stop. They have friendly and attentive staff that keep your coffee hot and provide prompt service. The food is great and reasonably priced. I love their breakfast burrito.

I used to visit to this restaurant on my way to devil's lake state park from Madison. This is the best breakfast I have had in Wisconsin. They have a great omlette and their service is awesome.I love their hash browns too.
