Annie's Fountain City Cafe and Catering

Laid back experience, great food, good coffee. The portions were a little small for the price, but were delicious.

Everyday I come here for coffee! Every single staff member is always warm, friendly and inviting!! Even on the first day I ever went here i felt they treated everybody like family. The specialty coffees are exceptional! The Jane is my absolute favorite. The menu is small but everything is soooo good! The Phillips skillet is a must try! And they always have a new special that’s yummy! The baked goods are to die for! Annie and her staff are a breath of fresh air! They have the most exceptional customer service you will ever find in fond du lac! The atmosphere is that of a large city coffee shop/boutique but the prices don’t reflect that. All and all this is a hidden gem in fond du lac that everyone should make a stop at!

I been here a few times and everything was great till... I was making a call for a pick up order a rude lady answer and on my order just ask if they could please make the bacon a little bit more crispy and she said no we microwave our bacon .... I’m sorry what ! U microwave bacon ? I remember being told by the owner first time being there everything is fresh. She was so rude would not let me finish my sentences so I hung up and will never come back if that how they treat there customers and how they cook there food

I am ashamed to say I have only dined here 3 times. (I need to make this a weekly stop) All have been stellar experiences. However, I have used Annie's catering multiple times. The food is always top notch. Service blows all others out of the water (I am an event coordinator, I have used many other vendors). The location is a perfect place to meet friends and colleagues. No obnoxious music to contend with while planning or doing work remotely. Food and coffee are fresh. The owner support local artisans, has a giving board and volunteers/supports many local charities. As a customer, you can be apart of something bigger simply by supporting this local business.

I used Annie's this past weekend for catering an outdoor bridal shower. Annie was SO wonderful to work with. Right from the beginning she was willing to be adaptable, as we had concerns with serving food during the COVID-19 pandemic. Annie was able to think outside the box and provide food that was individually wrapped. We ordered a variety of sandwiches, fruit, and veggies. Annie met us at the cafe on a Sunday when they are usually closed for us to pick up our order, though they also offer delivery for an additional fee.
We received many compliments on the food from our guests- the food was delicious and fresh! We would absolutely use Annie's again especially because of her willingness to keep the food sanitary and safe. Thank you, Annie!

We love Annie's :-) She and her staff are always so welcoming and helpful. Aside from great coffee and food, the environment is great; the cafe is well decorated; and their are fantastic co-op options and other unique products for sale on consignment. If you haven't been, you are missing out!

This place is adorable, but the food was terrible. Want coffee and a pastry, you are good to go. But we went for breakfast and it was probably one of the worst. My husbands bagel sandwich was flat as a pancake, the eggs, I’m sure were like jimmy dean microwave eggs. It was bizarre and nearly inedible. Maybe lunches are better, I don’t know, but for investing in such a cute little spot they should spend more time on making a great menu because ultimately the food will bring in the people.

Cleverly decorated place with excellent lunch menu. And don't miss the pastries and the chocolates make by a local creator. The California soup polished off with a dark cherry chocolate was amazing. Brought home a chocolate cupcake to share with Hubby. It was well received!

Cute place with lots of sweets, treats and coffee! One of my favorite things is that they have a "give if you can, take if you need" wall!! On the wall are an assortment of items that have been previously purchased and left for someone who may need, cup of coffee etc.
