Steamin Joe Coffeehouse

Went through the drive through of this cute coffee shop multiple times and never had an issue until today. I always have recommended this place to my friends when coming to town and have family that goes there frequently who live in town. Now I will not be returning due to the customer service. I received a surprise phone call from my ill/aging father as I pulled up to the window so of course I immediately answered. After being served my drink the owner said while I was driving away "get off your phone while driving" . The plan was to circle the building to park and talk to my father since he rarely feels up to speaking or if he had nothing left to say I would've hung up before getting back on the road. Everyone has their own opinion, but this was not the right way to share it..I understand they are closing, but still kindness should be in effect.

Very good strong cup of hot mocha, delicious.

Felt like we were unwanted guests. Stopped by around 1 pm for a smoothie. We were showed a small refrigerator for the choices of smoothies that were in a box. We were then going to sit down inside and was told the dining area was closing up.
Saw a 4 sale sign in the window.
Maybe they should close up shop now if they don’t want to happily serve anyone.
Very disappointed. Definitely not worth visiting again.

Drinks are usually good..blended ones sometimes need more blending. Owner sometimes has a cranky disposition. Used a debit card one time and an unauthorized tip was added.

Paid for 24 ounce drinks given 20 ounce. The gal working was messy at making drinks stated she had worked here for a year. She used the customer napkins from the front of the counter to clean up the mess. One drink was hot and one was cold, but both were supposed to be caramel lattes. She forgot to put the caramel in my drink and the espresso had a very bitter bite and we were down the highway before we realized it. We are both former baristas and stop daily at coffee houses. We know the drinks and practices. They have a door marked as a restroom however it is locked with a key pad and didn't offer us any assistance at getting in there. Some of us older folks like to wash our hands and occasionally use the restroom. Don't think we will be back. Wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

We came by a few times over the weekend when we were up at our property in Crystal Falls. Their frozen hot chocolate is amazing! Wish I could’ve asked what kind of chocolate mix they used, I was so curious but they seemed busy so I didn’t want to ask. The scones were also delicious, we’re looking forward to stopping again next time we’re up there!

I'm not a coffee drinker, my wife is.
Wife wanted to try something different, and the owner nailed her suggestion, Chi Tea, out of the park! That's now my order.
Prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere and decor inside is cute and well done.
The owner is extremely friendly, and talking with her is like talking with someone you've know for years.

Nice to find this little coffee shop in Florence that occupies an old Phillips 66 station (original blueprints are on the wall). Coffee was ok, service was good, space was cozy. Really enjoyed the wall with "silly" customer comments on it. As a former restaurant owner I can appreciate the venting

Love this coffee shop! I grew up in Florence and had the privilege of working at this business for a few years. It has gone through a few owners through the years, but the product and customer service has not changed one bit! Their espresso, Chai and coffee is great along with the special K bars! Regardless of who's working, you'll always be welcomed with a big smile! If you're ever driving through Florence make sure you stop at Steamin Joe's!

Coffee is great. Cozy place. Owners friendly and helpful with WiFi access. Husband had to book a business trip and they let us her laptop to make it easier than the phone! We will be back when we visit Florence
