Julie's is the best. The rooms are very spacious and definitely super clean. So easy to go to their adjoining restaurant where the food is fabulous!!! A winner all the way around. Nan

We always stop here for breakfast when in Door County. Consistently good food and fast service! Bakery is yummy and the portions are huge-perfect for someone with a sweet tooth. A must try is their homemade strawberry and rhubarb jam. Even bought a jar to take home and enjoy. Delicious every time!

Nice little Ma and Pop breakfast place. Menu was good, all the classics and a few unique options as well. I came with a big party and it was hard to fit us all in, but they worked with us. They do a great job making it kid friendly (treasure box and cute mini booth). Overall great option for Door County breakfast.

Julie's Park Cafe was very good. I had the oatmeal for breakfast. It was so delicious I ate every last bite. Everyone in our party said that their food was very good. Great family restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. Cozy place for coffee on a cool day.

Totally fine place to stay in Door County. It's not a place I would rave about but I also wouldn't rule out staying there again.
    Pros:
    - The room was super clean
    - Nice, new-ish furniture and fixtures
    - Wifi and cable worked great
    - It's a really pleasant walk to the shops and restaurants
    - Easy checkout on a tablet in your room

    Cons:
    - The layout of the rooms has them all facing a very small courtyard. With the motel being dog-friendly, this pretty much guarantees that another guest will be standing a few feet outside your window at all times and your "view" is a dog taking a dump.
    - Things were a bit rowdier than I expected, with dogs barking in the courtyard, and some sort of domestic disturbance that involved the police in the middle of the night.
    - I think the motel might have been built before everyone had roller suitcases, so the 2nd floor walkway is wood planks. Every time someone rolls their suitcase across the 2nd floor walkway, it sounds like the world is ending
    - The tap water smelled horrible and was undrinkable, and was gross to shower in. Not sure if this is the motel's fault - maybe that's just how the water is there. I had to go buy bottled water to use for drinking and brushing teeth

If you are able to use stairs, I would recommend requesting 2nd floor so maybe you will have a better view!

I can't review the motel because we have our regular place that we enjoy very much and we started staying there because they were by the water and love it! However we finally got to try the cafe and it did not dissapoint!! All of the restaurant staff was warm and courteous. The perch sandwich was super tasty and NOT fishy as all. Perfect dog friendly patio and my pups really enjoyed their scrambled eggs!! 😂 Also love that they serve breakfast all day. We will be back!!!

Julie's is a great little casual breakfast or lunch spot. Fun menu choices and helpful staff. The picture is the Elvis French toast - very good, like a dessert! The crispy chicken sandwich is hand battered and also very good. I always get a cup of the chili which is served with tortilla chips on the side.

Rooms are modern, clean, and cozy! Great location in Door County close to everything, and right next to Peninsula State Park. We also had breakfast at Julie's Diner attached to the motel which was excellent! The coffee was great, food was delicious, and served fast. I would recommend this place up and down to anyone traveling to Door County. Also, this is a pet friendly establishment! 10/10!

What a great place! We were so happy to find a dog friendly hotel and restaurant! We stayed in the King Pet Friendly room with no complaints. We were able to check in about 15min early, which was great! Loved the location and the staff was all very pleasant.

The restaurant was pretty good as well. Fast and friendly service. We ate both breakfast and lunch here with no complaints. We will stay here again on our next trip to Door County!

We always drove past this place while staying at Pennisula state park, finally gave it a try this trip, we enjoyed it so much that we went twice this trip. The breakfast is amazing, and the tator tots and chicken tenders, we will definitely come again. Busy, but worth the wait!
