This cafe is listed under the Coffee category, but it is much more than that and is my favorite place to go for breakfast and lunch.
Absolutely the best coffee anywhere, and the breakfasts and lunches are the best around. You will be surprised at how good the food is! For lunch, beer and wine is available too. It is a rustic, eclectic place with a warm and inviting atmosphere, along with a friendly staff. Also has an outdoor seating area for those beautiful WI days.

Stopped for lunch. Loved it. Cozy. Good selection. Had the chicken salad sandwich on 9 grain bread. Delicious! Got a latte to go, also very good. Friendly staff. Will go again if I return to the area.

What a cool place! The owner, Dan clearly takes pride in the coffee, sandwiches, decor, and staff at Off The Rail. They make an awesome latte! I will be back to try the food-everything looked and sounded amazing. Thanks Dan!

Delicious breakfast sandwich and the best latte I have had in a long while! I wish I could take you with me to Indiana lol

This place is fantastic for lunch. You will have to wait about a half hour, but it is worth it. Go with someone or a book, get your coffee, and enjoy the day while you wait.

They offer breakfast, lunch, coffee/tea, some alcoholic beverages, and they have a dessert case.

They have the option for indoor or outdoor seating. It is a cozy place, but the staff are very friendly.

Great little coffee shop, for breakfast and lunch, seating about 35 people comfortably in the village of Elkhart Lake. I had the English muffin sandwich with plenty of egg and ham in it, very filling. The coffee mugs hold lots of coffee and the first refill is free. It's located around the corner from the local wooden train station which speaks of a different era. Definitely worth a visit for breakfast or lunch for the food and friendly service. Parking outside, curbside. Closed Wednesdays.

I am always greeted with smiles and friendly faces each visit which is about twice weekly. I love when the staff sing along to tbe music playing!

The breakfast sandwiches are a must! As are the cinnamon rolls and really all the homemade bakery items! All made at Off The Rail!

The lunch sandwiches are huge and delicious!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Off The Rail except thank you for being in Elkhart Lake!!

We were looking for a quick bite to eat after visiting Old World Christmas Market and the food here was tasty and quick. Loved the seasoned chips.
