Higher Grounds Coffee Shop

The car in front of me in the drive-thru at peak morning rush ordered 8 (eight!) prepared drinks. Not only did Higher Grounds not ask the driver to come in to wait, they didn't even acknowledge that I waited for 10 minutes. Not a word. So rude that someone would order that many lattes in the drive-thru, but even worse that it wasn't handled professionally at all, they just made everyone else wait, no apologies.

Cozy, inexpensive, great selection, friendly staff. Pretty much everything you could ask for in a small family owned shop and then some. I love the endless coffee in a real mug or travel like Styrofoam cup. Only 2 25 is all it is!!!!!! As much coffee as you want!!!!!!!!!! The staff is amazing they are so friendly and sweet and knowledgeable. They have a bunch of different candies and artwork and coffees and knitted or crocheted items all kinds of amazing things!!!!!!!!

They nailed my drink! It's hard to have a coffee similarly made to Starbucks but Higher Grounds did an amazing job. Very impressed. Excited to say this has to be my new favey! Plus inside the shop is adorable. They have a ton of cute items for sale as well. Very cute. Prices are comparable to Starbucks as well.

Nice coffee shop. Always a great cup of java. They are normally happen to meet reasonable requesting on drink changes. Can get very busy and loud with people coming and going and meetings.

Absolutely love this place. I have been here for several events. Never been disappointed. Always friendly staff. The owner is very nice. Love the variety of events there. I also like the little crafts that are sold there. The coffee is awesome! I have had a variety of cold and hot coffees. I highly recommend it!!

As a student I liked to come here, get the endless cup for a little over two dollars and study for a few hours while enjoying as much as I wanted of the delicious coffee. They have different flavors of regular coffee, the selection of which varies by the day. I also come here with a group of friends every month and find that it's a great atmosphere for chatting over a cuppa or two.

I go here often for myself and my coworkers. Best coffee in Beaver Dam and surrounding areas, in my opinion. Flavors are always amazing and the staff is always friendly. Always recommend Higher Grounds to anyone looking for a good cup of coffee. Also, Daddy-O is the best flavor...HANDS DOWN. Thanks Higher Grounds for the great coffee and exceptional staff!

I have been here several times. Normally get their spotted cow or white chocolate mocha. The quality is great and their staff outstanding! Always super nice and peppy. They always brighten my mood a bit when I leave higher grounds!!!

Poor Jon Emerick must have never visited a Starbucks. I am absolutely sick of people being negative to the local small guy but completely okay with the corporate chains and their wait. What the heck is wrong with America lately?

Drinks are okay, nothing spectacular. I’ve been there twice and haven’t been wowed. The staff are always too busy talking about their personal lives and don’t great you. No conversation at all with customers. Probably won’t be back.
