Higher Grounds Coffee Shop

I absolutely LOVE this coffee shop. We go to Horicon once a year for a bowshoot, and hitting up this coffee shop on the way back is THE highlight for me! I love all the local wares, the music, the availability of coffee beans to buy, the music, the employees, and of course the coffee. It's one of the few coffee places I've been to that makes a mocha just how I like it and needs nothing added❤️ please check out Higher Grounds!

We were really looking forward to trying this spot on our drive home and took a bit of a detour to get here. But, in what seems to be a typical fashion of small businesses, they failed to update their hours online. As a result it was a complete waste of our time and is the reason that main stream coffee businesses stay in business even if their coffee isn't as great... Because they are at least reliable.

Tried this place for the 1st time recently and ordered a large mocha latte with an extra shot. Service was great and the price was very pleasing so I'll certainly return here.
The latte was quite delicious, but I wish it was served at a hotter temperature because I like my coffee very hot. I fixed that by reheating it when I got home though.
I did try to return a few days later in the afternoon and was sad to see they closed early due to staff shortage. I realize that can't be helped, but want to state that I'm grateful for the barrista who was there to work by herself the day I first visited. Keep up the great work!

Absolutely adorable location with so many fun trinkets, clothes, and other local goodies for purchase, and outstanding coffee to top it all off! We highly recommend!

This is my escape! Their coffee is hands-down the best in town, I'd say better than the larger chains also and I have drank a lot of coffee in my time. Worth every penny, a definite pick me up every stop. Staff rocks and their drive-thru makes it super convenient. Can't show enough love to Higher Grounds :)

Great brewed coffee. They serve Door County Coffee and serve it well. I don't get espresso, so I can't speak to that. I love that they offer unlimited refills for a small increase in price over a single cup of brewed coffee.

Great little coffee shop. Drive through is a major plus! Amazing menu. Seemingly endless coffee flavor options, including a nice variety of sugar free options! Staff is friendly and professional. Attention to detail is very noticeable (right down to the bathroom tissue ;) Thanks for being my new favorite coffee shop in town!

i asked for a redbull italian soda. the barista agreed to make it so we thought there was no issue. it wasn’t until we saw her making it that we realized it was essentially clear and anyone who drinks redbull knows it’s not clear. we asked “is that redbull italian soda?” barista replied YES but finally gave into telling us it wasn’t redbull once we started calling out the coloring. she said, “well we don’t actually have redbull… just club soda” highly disappointing that she tried lying to us ?? absolutely unacceptable in my opinion !!!! :)
also my mom asked for lots of ice while i asked for light ice and we received the same amount. beyond disappointing

Very nice atmosphere, they were playing some good 90s tunes when I was in there.

The coffee was delicious, I went back for more. I didn't think it was very expensive.

My one year old was running around and they very nice with her and said they were very family friendly.

The pastries were also very delicious.

Really enjoyed the experience, will be going back!
