It’s a nice place but the coffee was weak and the food was okay. The quiche was precooked, which is fine but it wasn’t the best and wasn’t hot. The fruit was fresh though. Staff was nice and helpful, nice outdoor seating on the water and rail trail.

Me and my friends waited at the front desk for 15 mins until someone finally talked to us. We went there for breakfast around 10am on Sunday. Restaurant was little busy but still many empty seats. Waitresses passes by us multiple times, not a single person cared to make an eye contact with us or let us know someone would help us shortly. We ordered drink after we took the seat. Then another 20 mins until waitress came back to take the food order. The waitress served all the food first then realized she didn't bring us the utensil. The entire experience just made me speechless. Food was ok. I feel the staff are not well trained. Don't recommend go there in busy hour.

My first visit will be my last. I waited in line only to be told when I got to the front the breakfast menu had closed. I asked if I could look at the menu and be waited on after she finished with the next customer...she told me I had to go to the back of the line. Grrr Next, the food came...a ham and cheese with sweet pickles. I hate sweet pickles. I tried to take them off..no luck..still tasted like sweet pickles. The side they served was tasteless. Don't waste your time here. The staff is rude and the food is awful.

Came here for the first time and was not impressed, sadly. My biggest issue would be the staff as they are definitely not friendly or welcoming. It was my first time there and no one said hi to me or anything when I walked in the door or walked up to the counter to try to order. The young woman acted like I was a bother. From what I’m seeing with other reviews, this is a recurring issue that probably deserves management attention.
I was not a fan of the turkey sandwich or the espresso shot I got (I hate to say it, but maybe the worst espresso I’ve had. Very overly bitter and strong vinegar taste). The desserts are delicious, though, and were the only highlight of my trip.

They have the best potato soup I have had in a long time. The coconut macaroons are the best around as well. Glad they are right under my barbershop as a downstairs neighbor. One of the reasons I chose my location. They do some good things locally for local artists displaying their work for sale, and great causes of many types. That helped draw me in to want to be around that type of vibe for my old and new found clients as well. Bluegrass from local groups of musicians on Thursdays has been a cool addition for a while to just pause and take in. Down by the river in Star City right on the trail, so people ride their bikes there a lot too which is pretty cool.

This place is a hidden Gym! Love the cakes and desert options. Coffee is also good here. Will be back to try the sandwiches

Fantastic cafe with lots of coffee options, good tea selection, house made kombucha, locally made beer on tap, & scratch made breakfast & lunch menus. Indoor and outdoor seating available with live music outside some days. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Location is right beside the rail trail on the Mon River, which is convenient.
