Farm to food in Hurricane, WV. Pretty amazing food at that. An wonderful menu of locally sourced meats and vegetables expertly prepared. Of special note is their sweet potato pancakes, which are delicious. I love homemade hash and eggs in the morning for breakfast. Their freshly brewed coffee is also incredible. I love how their menu changes with the seasons as new fresh vegetables from local farmers comes into season.
Keep an eye for their special farm-to-table dinners for a real treat, which is only made better by the inclusion of craft beer and wines.

What an incredible little gem! Went here with my husband and two small children yesterday. The atmosphere was very appealing to the eye and reminded me of trendy places that you may find in Pittsburgh, New York, and other large cities. Something West Virginia has definitely needed! Adorable place with amazing food. We ordered three different meals for breakfast and were incredibly impressed. Presentation and quality of the food was very good. Prices are extremely reasonable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. My children loved the decor and loved the crayon table and couch that are provided in the dining area. This is an extremely tasteful little place very well run. We were impressed and happy to stumble upon it. We will definitely return. Appreciate the farm-to-table, high quality food.
I think some of the negative comments left as reviews are from people who do not understand business transitions and what it takes to get a restaurant started up. Of course there are hiccups and human error. Of course there are time transitions and misunderstandings. My opinion is that this is a very well run, charming, and tasty establishment that is growing and finding its own feet. I would encourage any reader to look over the negative comments below, because to me, they seem out of context and overly negative. Try it for yourself!

By far, one of the top restaurants in the Charleston/ Huntington area. You can certainly taste the passion and farm to table quality ingredients that go into everything that comes out of this kitchen. Do yourself a favor and give Bridge Cafe & Bistro a visit, you will most definitely want to come back. As for my favorites: 1. Avocado Hash (Usually served as a breakfast special, be sure to follow on instagram or FB to see daily specials), 2. Itty Bitties (I eat these as an entree with buffalo and ranch on the side), 3. Any steak dinner (one of the best steaks I have ever had) 4. Meatloaf Dinner

Really wanted to enjoy this place as my husband and I received several recommendations from people. However, this was our second consecutive weekend visit with the same result—extremely slow service. I understand it gets busy but a 45 minute to an hour wait for food is a bit disappointing. Several people were looking around the room to see who had received their order so it wasn’t just us who experienced the delay. Food is decent but service needs some polishing.

This is the best breakfast by far in seven states! You can't go wrong here. Southern hospitality with authentic Appalachian farm raised cuisine.

Me and my brother wanted to try this place so we stopped by around 12:30 pm hoping to have a late breakfast only to be informed they stop serving breakfast at 11:00 am, strike 1 and severely disappointing. This is the first time I've ever known this type of establishment not to serve all-day breakfast.
The space itself was very nice, almost cozy with a pleasant ambience. The staff were very nice. Which are the only things preventing this being a 1-star review. The lunch fare was a colossal failure.
I ordered the Carolina BBQ (pull pork BBQ sandwich with coleslaw) and potatoes wedges. The potato wedges were bland and felt like chewing up a mouthful of starch; I ate one, my brother ate one the rest sat untouched. The sandwich had about 7-8 lonely looking shreds of coleslaw on it and the pork was dry and again bland. The bread my sandwich was served on had a stronger flavor than anything contained within.
My brother ordered the BLT with loaded rice. He reported "well... you really can't mess up a BLT", but commented the house cured bacon was cut so thick they basically had to burn it to get it crispy. The loaded rice was again a thoroughly disappointing side as it sat mostly untouched (I didn't sample the rice so can offer no comment on flavor).
I made no complaint about the quality, or lack thereof, of my meal at the time because by the time someone came to check on us I was so thoroughly disgusted with my lunch I just wanted to leave and go get something to eat.
I wanted to eat breakfast here because I had been led to believe they had a very good breakfast but after the massive disappointment of lunch I don't know if I want to try again. Even not having eaten any of the breakfast fare I would recommend they start serving breakfast all the way up to 2pm or simply close the restaurant at 11am when breakfast ends.

We came to try the food because we figured it was a new place and it was almost 5 stars. Come to find out After sitting there getting a stomach ache trying to keep this "food" down. We read the reviews which I find very funny but super misleading. After complaining that our food was awful and on edible the lady demanded that we scrape it all up a plates put it on to a nother plate and then she proceeded to take it to the chef where the chef then scoop food off of the plate and started eating it.! Most disgusting and unsanitary thing I have ever seen.
