This is where the locals eat. If you want a great meal and the best coffee around, come here. I had The Works coffee, and it was the best cup I've ever had! Hubby had biscuits and gravy, they were fantastic. I had chicken and biscuits with fried potatoes (a mix of regular and sweet). Service was excellent! If we are passing through again, we'll be back.

We haven't tried this place after they moved because their website tied to Google said they were only open from 8:00 to 5:00. We are so happy we got to try their dinner service, they have products that are supporting local businesses and farmers. They had great choices, the meatloaf was amazing and the maple pumpkin cheesecake made by Doug was by far superior to many that I've had. I really liked the vibe and all the plants that they had inside the dining room, they had outdoor dining as well. Very happy that we called and confirmed their hours and will be coming back to try new things!

So glad we tried Bridge at the new location. Great service and food was spectacular. We ordered the chips/ dip and all is homemade including the chips. Chips are crispy and warm. Both meals were equally great ( sticky chicken and buffalo chicken and Mac and cheese). Of course after a great dinner, dessert was in order and was equally on point. Homemade oatmeal cream pies and fried ice cream cheesecake.

I first ate at this restaurant about a week ago and got the pulled pork sandwich and it was absolutely amazing, since then I have returned twice and have had an amazing experience both times. I have had the biscuits and gravy, sausage, steak and eggs, and of course their coffee, if you enjoy strong black coffee this is the place for you.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. They always cater to her celiac disease (gluten free) and go above and beyond to make sure it’s not cross contaminated! I would eat here everyday if I could, the food is fantastic and the staff is always awesome.

Great food. I had the biscuits and gravy by far the best i've ever had. Wife chicken a biscuit with the works coffee she said it was the best coffee she's had.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Bridge, a local fine dining restaurant, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was fantastic, with carefully crafted dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. Each bite was a burst of flavor and I was thoroughly impressed by the skill of the chef.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was also top-notch. The elegant decor and soft lighting created a warm and inviting ambiance that made the dining experience all the more enjoyable.
One of the highlights of my visit was the personable staff. They were friendly and attentive, making sure that I had everything I needed and offering suggestions and recommendations when I asked. They added a personal touch to the dining experience and made me feel like I was a valued customer.
In conclusion, I would give The Bridge a five-star rating for its fantastic food, atmosphere, and personable staff. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special dining experience and I look forward to my next visit

Stopped here on way from Raleigh to St. Louis and wanted a good breakfast place. Bridge did not disappoint, fantastic sausage and pancakes and the Killer Bee might be one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had. Will absolutely stop here if we ever are in the Charleston WV area.

So we’ve been meaning to try this place for a while. Finally got the chance yesterday. I’d have to say the service and atmosphere was fine. The food was just ok. Honestly for the price and portion size I would rather pay more and go to one of the pricier restaurants in Charleston or Huntington.
None of the four of us were blown away by what we ordered. I got a burger that cost $16 that fit into the palm of my hand. They charge for every item you add to the burger including cheese (which they advertise several types but I was told they only have two which are American and Gouda). The burger was ok but far from being worth $16.
All of us including myself walked away from here hungry still when we left. Plus I noticed that they tack on a credit card usage fee as well.
Bottom line for me is that this is a one and done. Portion, taste and these charges are not my cup of tea. Perhaps their breakfast is more reasonable but it’s not on my must check out list anytime soon.

As a WV transplant from Shreveport, LA, I craved a restaurant in the area that reminded me of the local eateries back home. I came across Bridge Cafe & Bistro through a new friend, and it's #1 in my book. The ingredients, staff, and aesthetic make the spot a true culinary experience 😋
