The decor in the shop is really neat and gives the space a great laid back feel to it, which is what you want when you want to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee. Unfortunately, my latte was kind of a let down both in flavor and output. I ordered it iced, but got it hot. The flavor tasted off. As for the cinnamon roll, I don’t recommend heating it up like I did, because it ruins the bread and just makes it taste terrible. The heating was not their fault. They seem to be a popular choice in town, so if I’m ever in town I’ll give them a second try.

Great spot, really glad I found it. Would absolutely frequent this place every single day if I lived close enough. Clean, inviting, safe. Decent prices as well.
Wish every city in America had spots like this.
I will definitely come here again.

One of those can’t miss downtown coffee shops. Have to give this place a five star review after a quick visit in Yakima.
Walked in right behind a man who greeted the staff by name and was in turn greeted by name. They knew his order and nearly had it ready before he arrived.
The space is super neat. Upstairs has ample seating, but if it’s packed, there’s a basement with plenty of tables to work or game.
I got the cold brew and a breakfast burrito. Can’t beat the prices. Cold brew is a bit on the coffee-er side (not a bad thing), so if you like mellow, just get an extra pump of syrup.
Breakfast burrito is one of the best I’ve had. Torta like crispy shell with a perfect balance of egg, chorizo, and cheese. I only wish I would’ve asked for salsa.

Went to Mak daddy today. I ordered a 20 oz dirty chai and got a 16oz. I also ordered the bougie avacado toast, which was really really good.
The customer service was lacking, I thought the girl who took my order was a little rude, definitely not as friendly as I would expect from a coffee shop.
Overall 4/5 stars.

Great atmosphere. Perfect place to study, even though it's busy sometimes. The crowd is usually people studying so it's not too loud. The turkey panini comes with an amazing blackberry Dijon dip that is to die for!

Went in because my wife had an Americano with their bourbon espresso in it at Eats and Elixirs for brunch and really liked it so we picked up a bag. While there I got a London fog which is my go to hot drink. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff super friendly.

We two stopped in for coffee after lunch.
COFFEE: 4.0. Americano and a decaf latte (almond milk). Solid. Note that the smallest size is 12 oz.
SERVICE: 4.0. Prompt and friendly, and constantly at work keeping the place clean and supplied.
AMBIANCE: 4.5. Old brick building on corner. Street level is high-ceilinged (press tinned ceiling) with floor-to-ceiling windows facing both streets, and has tall tables lining the windows, as well as 4 low "comfy" padded chairs around a low table away from the window. Downstairs is low-ceilinged and cozy with four-chair regular tables; downstairs is where students seem to study together and regulars meet to talk. Free Wi-Fi.
Pastry selection slim (with no pain au chocolat), so we just had coffee. Lunch and breakfast items available.

I had a great experience. My drink was very tasty. The staff are impressive and I even picked up a cute pair of earrings for Christmas. Top notch. Highly recommended.

Heard a bunch about this place and decided to stop by. Unfortunately too late in the day so didn't try their actual coffee but got a tea latte. I had them make it half sweet and it was still plenty sweet, and also pretty average. The decor is nice but feels very sterile (maybe it's all the grayscale decor) - the main thing that got me was the very strong scent of air freshener or whatever it was. I honestly had to leave because it started giving me a headache and I couldn't concentrate - which is too bad, because I was looking forward to getting some work done. Maybe it was just this one day, because other reviews don't mention it.
