My pour over coffee had great Flavor. I stopped by as I got onto the road for a 5 hour trip, so the staff took extra care to wrap up my sandwich in parchment paper and then in foil to help it stay together for consumption while driving. Got the Local, a vegetarian sandwich. It was on a crispy fresh cheddar roll, totally yummy.

I eat at Oliver's every time I'm in Winthrop, which is at least once or twice a month. Every item I've ordered has been delicious, portions work for me. My favorite choices - a sandwich made with the delicious rolls, a latte served in a china cup followed by whatever dessert crepe is in season. Always kind service and an excellent place to savor lunch.

The food was not that good and the staff was shockingly rude. I tried to very politely provide feedback that we had a poor experience and the lady at the counter started raising her voice and telling me I was threatening her she was so reactive she put my young son in tears. I assure you I was calm and I stated up front “hey, I just want to share with you...”. As a small business owner myself I always appreciate when someone lets me know something didn’t go well and I try to offer the same courtesy to other businesses so they know and have the chance to improve. I have never had someone react so threatened and down right mean. Given this experience and the poor food I do not recommend this place. It takes a lot for me to post a poor review. This place earned it.

We were there at opening and we're able to order one of the four sandwiches they had for their breakfast service. I requested mine without bacon as I am a vegetarian... Suffice to say it came (after a 30minute wait) with bacon on it. The woman behind the counter offered to take it off, "we don't have anymore bread"...not understanding that it had bacon grease all over it... Wich was not ok with me so asked for a refund... And the woman behind the counter said "no, we don't do refunds on special orders". Here is the thing, she raised her voice, was extremely rude when I tried to explain I am a vegetarian and threw the sandwich out.
Not a pleasant experience and I am very upset to be treated that way. I have worked several customer service jobs and had to deal with unpleasant situations, this is not how to deal with them.

Super cute place! I had a green salad and it was tasty, and their shortbread was great, too. Kitchen noises are a little loud and portions were a little small. Love the concept of fresh, organic food!

I absolutely loved everything about this place. I went out on a limb and got an open-faced bohemian sandwich and it was SO GOOD! Yeah there was a 20 minute wait, but what good restaurant doesn’t have a wait? It was just the right amount of time to explore the near by stores anyway.

The food was tasty but super small portions, took way too long to get our food, especially with how few people were there, and the service was SO rude. I asked the woman who rung us up what her favorite dish was and she quickly snapped back at me and basically told me to go to the restaurants across the street if I wanted to ask questions like that. Every interaction with her after that was the same. Super sad for how cute of a place it is.

Quaint atmosphere and a short walk from the ice rink. Looks to have a nice deck for summer visits, but we visited in the dead of winter; a nice Latte helped stave off the cold. They have a good selection of baked goods, including some amazing meringue. The pigs in a blanket crepe is excellent, as is the chocolate one, though quite rich! Didn't care much for the chorizo Crepe as it uses sliced chorizo, rather than ground; just wasn't what I was expecting. They also make a great turkey and bacon sandwich!

A very creative offering of, well, “artisan” sandwiches.
Ours ranged from good to absolutely delicious.
But, we waited possibly 20 or 25 minutes for them to complete our sandwiches to go – this in spite of the fact that they had 3 people on staff and did not appear to be esp. busy. We watched the person working on our sandwiches take a very long time to assemble each. If such wait times are also a part of the “artisan”, I’m inclined to go elsewhere next time.

Yummy flavorful fresh and friendly
Have you tried the chicken curry lettuce wrap?! The meringue? Their perfectly crisp and snappy sugar cookie???
