I was riding my motorcycle through Sedro-Woolley around lunch time and decided to stop for lunch.
I walked down Metcalf St and saw Bonnie Jo's Cafe and decided that was where I was going to eat. I had never been there before and decided to try it out.
My first impression was it was showing it's age, but with the state of our economy these days that didn't surprise me.
Upon entry I scanned the room and found an unoccupied table and sat down. About a minute later a server greeted me, gave me the menu and took my drink order.
I noticed that the menu I was given had two sides. Breakfast on one side and Lunch on the other. I also noticed that either side may be used all day.
I chose to order off the lunch side and opted for the Reuben sandwich with a green salad. Typically I order fries with my sandwich, but I am trying to lose weight.
The Reuben was a nice size with a generous helping of corned beef and I thought the sauerkraut was tasty. The sandwich was still quite hot from the grill. I appreciated that it wasn't sitting, waiting to be served!
The green salad was simply lettuce, vertically sliced tomato, a hard-boiled egg sliced in half, mini croutons, and my choice of dressing (I opted for Italian) served in a small bowl on the side. (There may have been a couple more ingredients, I'm writing this from memory the next day)
I enjoyed my lunch experience at Bonnie Jo's and do not regret eating there. The restaurant has seen better times but I did not have any complaints with the service or the food.

The only place I could find other than Denny's for breakfast at 6 am. Did not disappoint. Made a to-go order; a full order of b&g with eggs, home fries and sausage links, Bomb, Ordered eggs Benedict as well, dank. Waited until I got home to eat with my dad (about min driveway.). We were both very satisfied!

Decent food, large portions, good service, small town atmosphere without the country music.

Food wasn't bad just not very flavorful. They were busy tho. Will probably try them again, could have just been an off day in the kitchen. Talked with the very nice lady who does the crocheting. She had some very cute stuff!

So here I am a gal from Texas looking for good old Home cooking. This place is awesome I highly recommend it. food was delicious not to mention a southern welcoming . One of the owners took the time to explain the menu and accommodated me with my food allergy. If you’re from this part of the woods or just passing through I highly recommend you to stop

This is like an old time cafe that all the locals hang out in. There was a steady stream of locals the whole time we were here. Breakfast was great. We had time to burn so we sat and chatted. Then I noticed huge peanut butter cookies and asked for one. They brought one over for free. We made sure the tip included the cost of the cookie.
The waitresses were very kind and friendly.

I've been going here since I was a kid and it was Hometown. My parents are regulars so whenever I come home, we go. The staff is always friendly and the food is always great! Thanks for being a staple in Sedro!

When we came into the restaurant there was no sign saying wait to be seated or one saying to seat yourself. So we seated ourselves. Last time we were here was when they first opened. Been awhile so we decided to come in. Service and food were ok. They weren't very hospitable.

I haven't eaten here yet, but I did stop in to stay warm while I waited for stuff in the area to open up. Some interesting conversations to listen to and the staff were pretty nice when they occasionally double-checked to make sure I didn't need anything.

My experience is we were racially profiled. We walked in we were happy and a waiter said a table will be available in 5 minutes or first table to be available sit yourself. Another waiter went and made us get up to give it up to some white man. We told her politely we been waiting for a long time and she said we’ll we have this table reserved for someone but no that person walked after us. It was so awkward and embarrassing how everyone was making disgusting faces at us and so did the waiters. All we were trying to do is have some good breakfast. Point blank don’t come here if your not white or you will be looked down at
