Really good service, REALLY tasty lattes, & plenty of room to work, socialize, or just hang out.

Like some other reviewers mentioned, downstairs is super loud, so wander upstairs for a bit more quiet if that's what you need.

Also, coffees aren't very hot, so you should ask for extra, EXTRA hot.

Free parking is also behind the building if you can't find street parking.

Great coffee spot.

I'm new to Seattle, but I've heard great things about the coffee here. I got the drip coffee 3 days ago on Saturday, and it was remarkably watery. The menu said "drip / french press" so I assume they have some giant press for this. Today, Tuesday, I went back and the drip was watery again.j So I asked the barista if she had tried it herself and she said, "well it's french press. I can put a shot of espresso in it for you." Perhaps my roommate used to make french press with more gusto, but I've never had a weaker cup o' joe. My understanding of a french press too is that you just leave the coffee and water together in the press for 5-10 minutes until the water is saturated with the coffee oils. If it's watery, it's most likely just that you didn't put enough beans in or didn't let it sit long enough. French press is supposed to be a very robust cup because of this compared to chemex brewing which just drains relatively quickly and is therefore lighter and brighter. Next time I'll check to see if they've made any adjustments in their drip / french press recipe and probably just get an espresso drink.

What a neat little space. Was so surprised how big and bright it was inside. Stopped in for a quick pick me up on a busy workday and the coffee was made to perfection by a really friendly fella named Michael. Will definitely make this a regular stop and will be sharing the gem with all my mobile Co workers! Thank you for keeping coffee magical ; )

Seattle Sunshine has great coffee and food. I also love the atmosphere. They have lots of art from local artists that rotates through along with the cool hanging glass piece that is a central part of the vibe. They have a good amount of outlets so it makes a great space to plug in and get some work done. With the upstairs seating Seattle Sunshine has lots of space too.

BEAUTIFUL café; so much natural light! The staff are incredibly friendly and their coffee is delicious. As a nursing student, having plenty of table space is important and this place HAS IT! I think I've found my new go-to spot. 💜

First of all, any coffee shop that brews Lighthouse Coffee is a friend of mine. I am a die hard fan of their coffee. However, Seattle Sunshine now has a special place in my heart. The cafe is beautiful and open, the pastries are to die for, and the baristas are the best. This is quickly going to become my go to in Seattle.

Favorite place to come with my boo to study. Its a big place, plenty of seating, most of all its usually very quite so studying is good here. Staff can act a little snobby, but I've gotten used to not letting it bother me. The important thing here is the space, not the staff.

Fresh new coffee house in an area with a few options, but not too many. It'll be nice to see how the coffee house settles. Seems a good place to hang for a bit with wifi and plugs, plus is inviting. Maybe a fourth star 🌟 after a year and see if it maintains ambiance of a friendly place to head to. So far, worth it.

I come here to work for extended periods. The coffee is good, breakfast and lunch are covered with tacos and sandwiches, and Macrina Bakery treats are available for a snack. The second floor usually offers a bit more seclusion if you want to read or work.
