Quite possibly the best coffee house in Seattle. This place brings together the best coffee and food items and serves them up together. Can't beat the latte foam here!

Coffee is lighthouse roasters, which is pretty decent. Baked goods are from macrina, one of the best bakeries in town. Decor is well chosen, although the venue feels a little sterile and not particularly cozy. Staff are pleasant and competent.
Overall a great coffee shop, would recommend.
My Humble Soliloquy
Nice & friendly neighborhood coffee joint with fresh Macrina baked goods. A nice & comfortable necessity for a Seattleite that has to have their… coffee.

Hands down best coffee I’ve ever had! One of the owners, Sen (not sure if I’m spelling that correctly!), is always so sweet and welcoming! My go to is a lightly iced lavender latte with oat milk - it’s amazing!
Edited to add that the employees here are absolute gems of society. Some of the kindest people I’ve ever met and still the best coffee around!

Ive been coming here quite frequently since the the pandemic started and after months of high quality service and impeccable consistency I felt i owed them a review.
Never during the ups and downs of the past few months have i received a bad cup of coffee. im not a barista i do know that its incredibly difficult to get it right every day. There are so many factors that can go wrong so i do expect every once in a while to get a bad cup even from the best of establishments. That has never happened. Not once. Every time its served politely with a freindly smile and ALWAYS in a real cup. I truly feel like they respect their customers. They dont compromise on taste.
The crossaints (technically cornettos) are delicious. For me thats whats important. The rest of the food is....ok. good enough for a coffee shop but i wouldn't come here for the food. They focus on the coffee here and for that I am grateful.
The decor is beautiful as well. While the tables and chairs are well worn and the fake leather couches are cracked and torn i hardly notice because the shop is always filled with a rotating gallery of local artists. All the peices for sale and if i had the money i would definitely spring for one, or two! The center peice is a beautiful glass sculpture spanning both levels. while it sits dusty it is always a pleasure to ponder.
Through the hallway theres a bulletin board stuffed with fliers events and advertisements for the community the recurring theme always rings support local. The bathrooms are......well they could be worse. Often a line forming to occupy the single space.
Outlets here are usually able to be had. Sometimes when its busy it requires a bit of scouting but thats all part of the fun.
Ok now the fun part
The Coffee:
The coffee itself lends itself a beautiful chocolaty taste. Nutty rich and warm. The drip somehow has a hint of natural sweetness to it which i find delightful. Like most seattle espressos its made to be consumed with
at least a hint of milk and from their lattes to machiattos they just always get it right.
I would Highly recommend patronizing this shop. They respect their customers and it shows. I will keep coming back and I hope nothing changes.

Love this place! I come in pretty regularly (pre and post corona) and not only are they observing all of the social distance and mask orders, they also have really great coffee!! I normally get a latte with an extra shot, a flavor, and an alt milk and even if I wanted to get a breakfast sandwich too, I know it’s not going to be a ridiculous total. AND I’m still going to get great vegan coffee and a delicious not as vegan sandwich!! Although, I’m pretty sure they may have vegan sandwich options haha 10/10 would recommend (and street parking is pretty abundant too)

Perfect little neighborhood coffee shop that serves high quality coffee and fare. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Sunshine Coffee certainly caters to students and business types, offering comfort, plenty of seating, quiet atmosphere and lots of natural light and soft tones. It's a great place to get some work done, or just lounge while waiting for friends, rain or... Sunshine.

The breakfast we had was really good and very tasty. The espresso was even better, the best coffee in the area. I also love the decaf it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The staff is very friendly. A highly recommendable coffee shop!
