Jake's Coffee

Positives: Good espresso drinks and pastries, friendly service.

Negatives: Parking is street-side, and spots are sometimes impossible to find-- this remains Seattle.

Very cozy and never too busy in the afternoon. Honestly a hidden gem of the U District. Only downside is sometimes sketchy location.

I love Jake (the picture of a cat on the wall.) The batista is shy but friendly. The coffee is good and, bonus, they also have bubble tea!

I was missing Japan and sat down to Gen Mai Cha plus Matcha and a Matcha Choco-Cro. Very reasonable prices very tasty pastry and tea. 6 stars.

Quick coffee made with love, very nice people and fun to become a regular at.

Not crazy busy and very convenient to where I was staying. It has been a regular morning visit spot for me. All of the staff have been very conversational. See you tomorrow.

Both the Americano and the cappuccino that I've tried are pretty good, and now there is a big selection of cakes/croissants.

A fantastic place, the coffee is delicious and the bakery products are spectacular. It's worth going!

Quick service. Ok latte, but not great. WiFi was not super fast but was reasonably reliable.
