No frills coffee house that you gotta appreciate because it's just serving what's good and the best prices in all of Seattle. Also the woman who served me was sweet. This isn't a place selling you anything besides decent coffee and hard to beat prices with really pleasant attitudes. It beats going to overworked/exhausted Starbucks. Support local!

Awesome hidden gem! Homey coffee shop that sells classic drinks and unique flavors like Snickers mocha. The sugar level is PERFECT! Was expecting a snickers mocha to be a tad to sweet but every ingredient blends well. Will definitely come back to try their matcha latte (most popular) drink.

Stop in here during my breaks at work. Cheddar bay biscuits are so yummy (ask to have them warmed). Service is super friendly. Not a student but seems like a quiet place to study. ☕ is great also.

They indeed make the drinks quickly and provide good service. There is plenty of indoor seating and I’ve never had a problem with patrons being too loud. There’s no background music so it’s quiet most of the time. Today it was just an oak milk latte and an espresso shot but I’ve tried the drip and cold brew and both were good balanced flavor. They have good hours too! Jakes coffee has been a good spot for me to get work done and enjoy my drinks.

The place is small and homey. The coffee was okay, but the blueberry muffin was pretty outstanding (fresh blueberries, and not too sweet muffin). The prices are very reasonable. The barista was very polite and kind.

Unpleasant experience. The lady is mean. As I walked into the shop and made my order, the lady did not look at me at all. As I sit down waiting for my drink. She kept staring at me without any smile. It seems that I was not welcome. However, she seems friendly to some customers. The service made me so uncomfortable, confused, and a bit angry. I would never visit the shop again because of the service discrimination.

Jake’s Coffee is a UDistrict hidden gem. The espresso is good and comes out quickly, and is also one of the cheapest options in the area. There are some non-espresso options available and pastries/small snacks that are made fresh every morning. The drinks are on the sweeter side, but it’s very easy to ask for adjustments— the owner is very accommodating.

It’s the perfect place to study if you want a lowkey, quieter spot. There are many outlets and free wifi, plus you can sit by the window if you prefer natural lighting. The owner is very kind and shows a lot of care for her customers, especially the regulars.

The owner was so discriminative. My first time in the shop, didn't know that boba tea was allowed to be in the shop. The owner was quite unhappy and gave me lots of attitude, even after I made a purchase and there was only one customer in the shop. You could have been nicer. To everybody not just white customers. Nobody needs your attitudes during a weekday. Will never ever be back again.

Very cozy small coffee shop with great coffee for a good price. The woman at the counter is very nice and service is quick. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Wonderful coffee.
Lady at the counter is extremely courteous.
Great place for working.
If you are around and need a coffee pop in for sure, no drive thru but plenty parking in front.
