CAFFEINATED Coffee

The place has no trash can. No kidding. The dude in charge suggested to go outside to use the public trash can on the street. He kept locking the door and asking visitors to open when someone was attempting to enter. No restroom too. Totally odd experience, the guy in charge was almost rude and looked like he was unhappy to have customers. Not much sitting place. The dude demanded to move chairs further away from windows (!). The coffee was meh, the muffins were far from fresh, the cups were leaking. Such a weird place...

UPDATE: Wow, just read that reply from the owner. I've never seen such reaction. SO WEIRD! Instead of "thanks for your feedback, yeah, we should have a trash can maybe" the owner is insulting me and my friends, accusing us of "not ordering a drink" (we ordered three + muffins but it's irrelevant), staying late (we left early - but again, irrelevant) and throwing a bunch of other random things into the mix (likely confusing us with someone else but this is unacceptable regardless - clearly I was not the only victim of the day).

Renting a nice spot in a prime location is clearly not enough for being a good host and being able to attract customers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Great space w plenty of outdoor seating. Try the new black sugar latte (off menu ;)

Didn't like their hazelnut latte, it tastes super diluted. Just being brutally honest here. Some people say the vanilla latte is better. No clue, maybe worth a try! Average price for latte is $6.40.

Came here with a group of about 12. Cozy cafe, had gluten-free energy bars (the peanut butter is fantastic). Very friendly cashiers, limited options for pastries/food. There wasn’t much room inside so we sat outside. Would be a great place for summer or to-go orders.

As an Australian and therefore coffee expert. This is an excellent place to get an espresso.

The owner is very nice!!!(He uses Mainland and Taiwan when we chat) Don’t understand those negative reviews…. Coffee is great and I bought some coffee beans back.

The space is nice enough, good location, but our service was pretty meh, the croissant we ordered was sitting next to a grocery store container of other croissants, so clearly not made fresh ha ha (I don't mind, just thought it was funny), and the drinks were decent. My iced Chai latte basically tasted like spiced milk. Good if you're nearby, but definitely not worth going out of one's way.

Fantastic. The inside design is great, the windows of the coffee shop could clearly see the space needle. The owner and his wife are really nice and often ask you to try out. Just great experience here. Their coffee are great too because the owner actually takes time to make every single coffee. Final thing I need to mention is their hot chocolate, it’s the best I’ve had in my life so far!

Very nice interior, but had an odd interaction with whoever took my order. Like most coffee places, they had a standard menu with options (latte/espresso/milks/syrups/etc). Was feeling indecisive so I asked whoever was taking my order what he recommends (thinking they may have a speciality drink or signature latte). He then explained in a manner that I found condescending that you “can’t just recommend coffee” and that he “drinks espresso, which [I] probably wouldn’t like,” so he wouldn’t know. Overall, his demeanor was cold but the coffee was alright. I would feel more confident in coming back had it felt more welcoming.

We were visiting for vacation and decided to stop in for coffee and maybe a bite to eat you know support a small local business in these times. But I wish we hadn’t the coffee was overly sweet and the employee seemed to not want to be there. My gf asked if the lattes were sweet the employee gave us this long almost snarky remark about how lattes never come sweet unless asked and blah blah whatever. Weird vibes. He definitely made sure it was sweet too sweet it went into the trash.
