This place makes West Seattle feel like home โฅ๏ธ it was one of the first spots I came to when I moved into the neighborhood a few years ago and I've always felt like part of the community, between the hospitable staff and all the care that's put into every corner of this place ๐ not to mention, the beautifully maintained garden in the back... Can't emphasize enough what a special and loved place this is! Thank you C&P!!!

Classic warm welcoming independent coffee shop environment.

My favorite place to enjoy coffee with or without friends and with or without my dog. Charming and friendly service , with a cute yard area and short term parking in back . I love that they still carry almond flavored syrup for my latte. It's increasingly hard to find for some reason . It's the little things like this that makes me love it so.

Neighborhood coffee shop with an eclectic decorum. Selection of wines with good pours. Coffee, juice drinks, and limited great looking food while I was there. Parking can be difficult. They appear to have outside seating in better weather. A comfortable place to visit with a friend.

Great place! My friends mom often plays small shows here, and its a fun, cute little place. They also have awesome hot chocolate and make cool designs with the foam. :)

Old quirly house turned cafe bar. Plenty of seating which is good because 1/4 of it was picked for quirky style over comfort. Super friendly staff and good coffee. WiFi and electricity for those looking to study. Pleasant atmosphere, relaxed and social, maybe a bit loud when it's too social but most spaces are.

Real nice small coffee shop in west Seattle. They have live music very often. You can get the upcoming schedule off their website. This is a great place to go get a coffee, hot chocolate, beer or wine and sit down with some friends for a board game or two. They have a few pastries and small bites as well, but I don't find it the best place if your looking for more then a snack.

Lovely decor - very friendly staff.
The menu seemed a little limited, if you're expecting a cafe, but perfectly adequate for a coffee shop.
Small outdoor area in the back. Large outdoor space in the front. Plenty of seating indoors.

Everyone here builds a sense of community. From the personal greetings and genuine conversations to the events that they host around music, poetry, literature, and political action. I have so much respect and gratitude for the owners and all of the amazing experiences they have fostered over the years. I have come to practice guitar with my wife, celebrated birthdays, studied for my master's, and just come to read a newspaper and relax. Also, they kick ass at making a tasty beverage with Lighthouse coffee!
