Unique spot! You can tell it used to be a working class family’s home before the wave of West Seattle gentrification forced them out of town. Still unique, cool vegan mini donuts. Good stuff.

Excellent coffee-shop in a house-shaped retail space. Friendly staff. Very very busy, not many outlets for charging but great WiFi. Good brand, above average espresso and coffee. Will be coming back.

It's too expensive and I feel ripped off. The atmosphere is great and just what you want a coffee shop to look and feel like. Unfortunately, everything on the menu is over priced, the food and drinks are mediocre, and getting served takes forever.

Today I paid $3.56 for a small hot apple cider after waiting forever to get helped. That's nearly $4 for a just under a cup of liquid that probably cost the coffee house about twenty cents. It was poured out of a gallon jug and marginally heated. Didn't taste like much - grocery store special and was only slightly warm. For nearly $4!

My mistake though - I came back after an underwhelming experience over the weekend, simply because of the atmosphere. I had paid over $11 for a small, bland pasta salad without enough veggies, and a 12oz latte that tasted burnt. At my usual coffee spot the same order would have cost less than $8. There was live music and there are big tables, but even so, I should have known I'd be disappointed by my return trip.

Sadly, I won't be going to go back to C&P again.

Very chill little coffee shop that is in the form of an old house. A great place with a great atmosphere. Only downside I would say is that they use lighthouse coffee which is not my favorite but I can't fault that. Totally worth checking out, great experience and friendly staff.

I came tonight for the Unplugged music night and it was absolutely spectacular. From classical guitarists and talented violin students, from Bach to Joan Baez, (not to mention a lute player!), as well as one of the best jam guitarists I've heard in years-- C&P's live music sessions are not to be missed! This coffee house is a literal West Seattle treasure.

We live in the neighborhood, so I'd really Ike to love this place, but the large retiree crowd vibe, lighthouse beans (which are over roasted in my opinion) and costliness of this place (including $5 min for credit cards) make it one to avoid for me. It's small and quaint, and many folks like the Starbucks type burnt coffee taste, so judge for yourself. I'm a coffee nerd, have a home espresso machine that I brew manually, so I've checked out just about every shop in west Seattle and small batch roaster in the greater Seattle area. I greatly prefer RealFine coffee down near Trader Joe's - it's the only place south of lake union you can find Herkimer beans and they custom made their espresso machine in sodo. Also no credit card minimums...

Very quaint, Very cozy, and friendly baristas. Longgg line, but we'll worth it. Line dissipated amazingly how fast w 2 baristas. It's truly a coffee house on the inside, with large living areas and outside seating in back as well. A cozy place to read, work on computer, find locals. The atmosphere makes you want to hang out, and definitely return. I walk around West Seattle frequently, but had never realized it was a well known local hotspot for coffee!, probably because it looks like a house on outside! Thank you for a delicious short Cafe Mocha! (I believe it's Fonte coffee.)

Among the best for that homey living room feel since it literally is in very clearly what used to be a residential single-family structure. It is generally quite busy in the spacing is probably friendlier for single folks looking for a space to sit and work as opposed to two or more finding conversation space.
