Very friendly staff, relaxing and unique atmosphere. My local favorite. They do things the right way here to make tasty lattes. The Mandarin mocha is my favorite here.

One of the best places to hangout and have a delightful coffee you can ever have. Staff are so friendly and they have got a nice motto of “no WiFi - only talk with each other”. They have got nice savories too. Overall I would say that it is the best coffee shop in Redmond.

The sign on the wall inside perfectly describes this shop's personality: "No WiFi, talk to each other like it's 1995!" I hear that there aren't even any electric outlets or laptops allowed on weekends. If you're the type of person who would walk into that situation and feel like they're pushing an agenda on you then I couldn't recommend this place to you. Otherwise, I couldn't recommend it more. Coffee was really tasty too!

Sad service. Amazing flavored drink!

Maybe it was a bad day for staff, but we had a really rough time on our last visit. Two drinks, two pastries. 20 minutes at least. The person who took our order took their break and our order was scrambled and lost. Seems like it may have happened to other customers as well.

Folks were lined up at the pick up area, super impatient. At one point the cashier asked a customer to take a drink to a table for them - maybe the customer was a regular, but he definitely did not know the people he was asked to take the drink to and this request seemed super unprofessional and odd. Drinks started to pile up on the counter, but no one was around to claim them, what a mess. The drink maker asked another coworker to 'get this s*** off the counter for me'. I cringed.

Time passed slowly, we got our drinks - in the wrong cups at first. Though we had been very clear that this was a 'to go' order, it was shocking to the person making the drinks. How did that get lost? My drink didn't have the whipped cream on it though, which was a pretty big deal to me. "Oh, did you want the whipped cream?" Yes, it was part of my order, it says it is part of the drink, please, thank you.

We left, hoping the folks behind the counter would see some relief. Walking away, I tried the drink. Wow, it was amazing! Not too sweet, a great flavor. This brings them from two up to three stars for me.

I've never worked in a coffee shop before - if you're super slammed, does it make sense to let customers know that your drinks will be a little while? Would certainly have helped some of the customers that grew increasingly irritated as we all waited. If that's not how it works, it's got to at least be common practice to have a way of cashiers telling drink makers what size of drink customers ordered and whether it was for there or to go. Thankfully we were there to kill time, just won't be back in a hurry.

I was happily greeted when I walked in. Great coffee with a great atmosphere. This was my first time visiting and I will be back! They even sell their own coffee beans. Make sure to visit for your caffeine fix while in Redmond.

Bad customer service

To reply to the businesses reply: I was not part of the vaccination program going on in the parking lot, I was a customer that walked over to get some sweet desert and leave. I saw a barrista walk out of your store and yell at some kid and then proceeded to stomp away like a literal child. The most unprofessional costumer service I have seen.

The coffee here is amazing and they made it super quick. Almost all the staff here is nice. The atmosphere is so cute and old-fashioned. However I had a really bad experience with one of the staff members, my friend and I were sitting at a table doing homework and waiting for more friends to show up. The table I should mention is reserved for four people but when we sat down the sign saying that wasn't on the table. This staff member came over to us and started yelling at us about how rude we are for sitting at this table and how all the staff here hates us. It was the first interaction we had had with him and I was completely taken aback. I felt mortified, and nearly cried. We're never coming back here again!

Nice, quiet, and quaint. When so many other coffee shops try to be bright, and modern, and loud, and get you out as quickly as possible, it's nice to find a dimmer, soulful, relaxing place to read a book. Didn't try the coffee, but the hot chocolate was very nice.

One gal seemed agitated that she was helping guests. Drink was amazing, but felt rushed into paying and didn't even get to order food for myself. Not really impressed, probably won't return. This was during the afternoon and it wasn't even remotely busy.

The coffee is spectacular, but as someone who feels compelled to treat all people with respect, I have to give this only one star. Every time (3x now) we've seen the manager interacting with his employees it is in a disrespectful and demeaning way. He angrily orders them around and yells if they are not performing to his exact expectations. This is very unfortunate, because every employee I've interacted with there has been wonderful. My husband and I thought we found "our spot" for coffee, but the attitude of the owner is inappropriate and uncomfortable. He is even blunt and rude to customers who are unaware or not abiding by his 'no electronics on the weekend' policy. Very disappointing for such an adorable, eclectic, and tasty coffee shop. I hope that this review will encourage some thought and changes on the behalf of the owner. We would love to continue as patrons of this shop, but for now we will choose to take our business elsewhere.
