Very busy place, a lot better coffee and atmosphere than Urban Timber. Even though both serve a dark roast from Dillanos, urban timber pulls fast 6 second shots so you can’t taste the coffee. Anthem makes a REAL espresso. I love the atmosphere of this place and that there are no screaming kids. I hope it stays this way!

Anthem is always reliable when it comes to great drinks. The only complaint I have is that I stopped by for a to-go drink and there were quite a lot of people packed in the shop. Maybe not the most COVID safe for now but it may have just been a busy day as well. I’ll be back!

Delish coffee, friendly staff! Love this place!!! I just wish that there were more locations. We look forward to coming here on the weekends!

Very busy place with a friendly vibe. We arrived near peak morning hours and were able to order quickly and find a seat. Pastries were tasty. The wait for our drinks was about ten minutes. Understandable given the crowd. The taste and quality was excellent.

Line was short and I was still forced to leave before getting my fix because the cashier was more interested in chatting with a regular than taking my order. I guess my coffee was less important than someone else's life story.
It was my first time in, and apparently this is something of a normal experience at this shop - I certainly won't be giving them the opportunity to disappoint again. Good coffee is easy to find in Washington, I don't have to settle for slow service or waitstaff playing favorites

Very relaxing coffee house where you can actually sit down and enjoy your java.

My mom, a friend, and myself went to Anthem to grab a quick coffee. It was very busy and upbeat and actually had the feel of a coffee house / Tavern somehow... the employees were friendly, outgoing, and a little loud occasionally but it seems like that's what they were supposed to do. A little expensive and the coffee took longer to actually get then most coffee places. The Java was delicious and still worth a good value.

I'm not an avid coffee taster, but this place has some good stuff for good prices. Even the regular bottled chocolate milk was a normal price, not as expensive as most third party retailers would sell it for. Customer service was great, she over filled my drink so she let me sip it down then filled it back up to where it should be. Music is pretty loud. Personally it doesn't bother me, but I'm not the kind of person who sits and chats over coffee. Just something to consider if you are that person.
Side note: if your glass is cracked, you don't get an entire new beer filled to the top, you get a new glass with the rest of the beer you paid for. Why would they refill you for free just because the glass wasn't perfect? As long as it doesn't spill or leak out, you should be fine.

One of my favorite coffee places. Great customer service, cool looking decor, lots of places to sit, and the coffee is great and never watered down or overly sweet. The location is great for families to go and hang out at the park while sipping some awesome Anthem Coffee

Pretentiousness abounds at this pottery barn style cliche' townie style coffee house. Youll find the staff standoffish, the patrons to be run of the mill puyallupians impressed with their own smug yet commoner style idiocy. It's fantastic for those whom feel most comfortable at Hobby Lobby. Then again, if you're in Puyallup for any reason youre probably the type who suckles right up to this sort of bland cultural TOMFOOLERY.
