Always a pleasant experience. A huge selection of teas for just every taste. Fruity sweet mixes for iced teas strong put hair on your chest caffeinated and so much more inbetween. The staff is always friendly and super knowledgeable on the products they sell from a cuppa to packages of tea and products to brew the perfect cup. They always have a great selection of sweets always delicious. They serve lunch and high teas which we have not yet had a chance to enjoy.

The teas are amazing and the food is a little too good!!! We recently picked out a couple of teas to try as well as a nice mix of treats for a little tea party with my girls back at home. My oldest picked out this OMG cookie that I tried to talk her out of, I really thought it was going to be bad... How wrong I was! We all tried a piece of it and it was a favorite! All the treats were great, but that one especially. And they all went nicely with the teas we picked out. I can’t wait for my girls to be a little older to do a high tea with them, but for now we’ll enjoy doing Afternoon tea at home

Lovely, cozy Tea House with an amazing selection of teas. Sit down with a pot of tea and a scrumptious baked good, or go the Full Monty with their High Tea. (Reservations needed for the High Tea). They also serve yummy sandwiches and soups for lunch. Great outdoor space for nice weather, or the cozy fireplace inside.

Very nice little place. My wife and I came in from Texas on our vacation, and were really excited about getting "Cream Tea" here. From the website "includes two scones with clotted cream and jam served on pretty china and unlimited tea." But what they meant by unlimited tea, is unlimited hot water in your kettle. I don't know of anyone who steeps tea more than once. I was very disappointing by this. Frankly. that's not unlimited tea. We didn't even get to enjoy the one kettle of tea we were given, because of the use of a french press style kettle. By the time we went for our second cup, the tea was already bitter from being over steeped. I found this to be unacceptable for a tea house.
The scones and clotted cream were great, which is why this review isn't lower.
*updated my score to 1 star because the owner didn't bother to respond.

What a find. It's all about the clotted cream! And scones. Wow. As good as what I had in London 2 months ago. Super clean place. Lovely outdoor seating with lots of flowers. Countess different teas. Definitely will be back.

Had a fabulous high tea in Port Townsend @ Cafe Tenby. Have had high tea at The Empess in BC, many locations in London and in Australia and Cafe Tenby stepped into the fray and knocked it out of the park. The Welsh Cakes from owner Andrew’s Welsh heritage served w creamy lemon curd were unique and so moist. The scones were buttery and delicate and melted in my mouth. There was no way I could make it thru the selection of sweets. The variety of teas are extensive. If you can’t find a tea to your taste you are not a tea drinker! (They also serve coffee.)The Covid precautions were in place and followed and we felt very safe. No need to travel so far afield for a good High Tea. We will be back!

Wonderful place, great tea and the Clotted Cream Scones are a total delight. Pippa and her staff are friendly, wickedly funny besides being gracious hosts. I recommend the Australian Billy Tea - you can taste the Eucalyptus!

Go for tea or lunch. Real tea, I mean High Tea, available! Always handmade and home baked goods, sandwiches and desserts, original recipes. Real clotted cream, homemade jams and fresh scones!! An individual high tea is available, but you need reservations for the full Sunday ceremony, as it's always sold out, and takes advance preparation. Absolutely a MUST DO in Port Townsend!

A lovely cosy cafe serving tea, coffee, a selection of sweet bakes and a veriety flavourful savory meals to go or eat in. Breakfast here is a delight.
Staff are super friendly and there's a real personal feel.

Pippa's Real Tea is a rare gem set in the delightful crown of Port Townsend. Pippa herself is alight with laughter, and passionate about the tea she serves. Unlike many tea shops in the area, Pippa has foregone the gossamer curtains and delicate china, cat printed ceramics, and awfully pungent floral arrangements of a "Victorian" style for a light, festive, and retro layout. I found myself ensnared by the jazz music from the street, pulled through the screen door, and presented with the walls of tea ready for sniffing and purchasing. Beyond the atmosphere and locale, the food served is well prepared, and in the case of the scones and clotted cream far beyond excellent; the scones small and flaky, yet substantial; the cream smooth, thick, and not too sweet.
