Cafe Au Lait

I have given this place multiple tries hoping the redbull smoothies would get better but they just got worse. Please have them learn a new way to make them because they taste like blended ice with chucks of ice. Today I got a BLUE RASPBERRY one and the color was gray. I usually go to B street coffee stand in Aberdeen and the way they make the smoothies are much better.

Locally roasted, which means you can pull up to their window and they will not have coffee. Cafe Au Lait claims this NEVER happened. It happened in December when I was on a transport. We got to the drive thru and they did not have espresso beans! So we drove over to the Target parking lot and went and got coffee from the coffee shop inside there, which we were trying to avoid because we like to try to shop local. Don't say it never happened. It totally did.

I purchased a 24 Oz lotus energy, I received a $6 24 Oz setzer water. Very disappointing

I really like their coffee and go there often. However, 2day they only had one cookie flavor, one muffin top flavor and they no longer use the touch pad for reward points - real bummer.

Americano was fine but not special. The wildberry smoothie separated before I got back to my apartment 2 minutes away and was too tangy and sweet. Would have expected more berry flavor. Finally, coffee dripped as I got it in the car and burned my arm; I like my coffee hot but not that hot.

Staff here is always bright and chipper here. A 5:30 a.m. rain downpour and freezing temps helps one to truly appreciate the welcome always offered here!

Price of my fav drink here is better than what the big chain charges, making the stop all the better... I say you need to try it out!

Used to be a regular here but after staff changes my order was constantly getting messed up, so I started going less. When the service dropped too I just quit going for the most part.
Yesterday I decided to give the shop another chance only to be let down again. The two workers were not wearing masks while talking and preparing orders!!! It’s been a year since the pandemic started, they know they should be wearing masks. Very disappointed and will not return or recommend.

The two baristas were beyond rude first thing when I pulled up. My drink had barely any flavor and was way more expensive than any other coffee place in the area. When I was handed my change the barista missed my hand, dropping my money on the ground and laughed.

I went around 9:00 am.

I love the coffee here but lately the service has gone down hill. If you're not in a lifted truck and a dude they don't talk to you. And last time I was in there, I had a hair in my iced coffee. Of course I didn't realize it was in there until I was almost done with it. The girls never have their hair up it's no wonder there was that in there. The music is always blaring they can't even hear if a car has pulled up to the window. I've sat there for 5 min before someone greeted me. I'm pretty un-pleased. Things need to change.

WHEY PROTEIN COLD BREW DRINK CONTAINS PEANUTS. I love their white mocha, best in Oly if you ask me! Today I ordered a whey protein with cold brew drink and when the barista was making it I noticed they put peanut butter in it. My daughter has a peanut allergy so we cannot have peanut butter so I hade to tell the barista I couldn't accept the drink due to a peanut allergy. I'm sorry I waisted the drink and her time but I also wanted to let others with peanut allergies know that the item contains peanuts and it is not posted clearly on the menu.
