The coffee is great water is nice & they will let you use the bathroom no matter what you throw down your gullet.
5 stars 1 frisbee & a Coke to boot. Open mic local hotshots & instrumental improve comedic or otherwise poems.
Art all over the halls & a quaint place to work on that new script everyone is already buzzing about.
The house band is pretty dope too. Check it out!

First time here. Right off the bat, the man on the espresso machine was treating the young girl at the order-taking machine with zero respect. She appeared to be training, and when she didn’t know the correct abbreviation for the drink, he condescendingly said, I don’t know what that is. She apologized with her head down, appearing to look for guidance. The man was not helpful, just plain mean.
Then my fiancé and I approached the counter and weren’t even acknowledged until we asked where to place the order. This guy’s tone was demeaning; “right on the yellow dot”. Every step of the way we were treated like an inconvenience and a nuisance. The girl taking our order was very kind. Maybe the dude was having a terrible day, but that gives you no right to treat anybody this way. Especially someone new to the place; and even more-so to someone who is still learning the ropes.
I was really excited to try this place, as I’ve heard so many good things. This man, single-handedly ruined our experience. I am genuinely surprised he even has a job in the service industry.

I ordered a Chai Tea and apparently that means a Chai Tea Latte and they didn’t even ask about milk. I would have probably liked it if I had been able to get it with a milk alternative as I’m lactose intolerant. Their pour over was incredibly slow and was lukewarm when delivered.

Starbucks too bright for your liking? Visit Ristretto today! This place makes me feel one cigarette away from becoming a great French philosopher. Come here with a good book on existentialism and you'll see what I see: a cozy and inspirational spot to study, chat, or contemplate the human condition. ☕🍷

We love finding great coffee shops along our route. Place has great vibes and painting for sale. Coffee beans is from victrola. Service is very nice and accomodating. They also have outside seating. Just a nice place.

Had an amazing experience at this cafe that was open early in the quaint town of Mount Vernon. Perfect for a pre or post tulip festival meal. The ambience was quite chic. The staff very friendly and helpful. Finally, the food and coffee was worth it!
Tip: try the grilled cheese panini; it has feta cheese and pesto sauce as an added bonus !

A great little cafe. I spent a few hours there working, had a good coffee and a tasty sandwich and a delicious cookie. The people were nice, the atmosphere was cozy, bustling but not too noisy. I would go again.

Good coffee but bit pricey

Very high quality coffee, lots of local art for sale, and tasty baked goods. My favorite coffee spot in Mt. Vernon. I also love the seating in the front windows!

A little pricey and cold inside. Not sure if this was done on purpose to get others inside to buy more coffee. However, beautiful art displays and friendly staff. Just really wish it wasn't so cold inside. I almost want to get out there as quickly as when I arrived.
