We come in here a couple times a week. Have been coming for months. Today the owners were not there. The male and female barista working at 11am had better things to do then make coffee. Took 30 minutes for them to make an Americano. The coffee didn't taste good and they messed up our drinks. Hopefully when we come in again it isn't so bad. Also it wasn't even busy. They only had our 3 drinks sitting there. Seems like when the owners are there the service and coffee is much better. I understand them not being able to be there all the time.

I have been going on and off over the last 8 years. It was one of the very first places my now -husband and I went when we first started hanging out. It is nice to have a relaxed atmosphere place where you can listen to music, play a game, or hang out with friends.
Last week I had a meeting there and it may be louder than a conference room, but we had gelato, sorbet, and coffee

Excited to see this place open up again and with a great crew of people. New openers are bringing back some of the original charm that we all loved! Enjoy the atmosphere, take a walk in mill creek, and enjoy this great coffee! Excited to see what they do when we make it past covid.

This is my go-to coffee/ study spot in the Mill Creek area. Coffee is good (they have oatmilk!), fireplace makes the place cozy, music is good, and it's pretty spacious. It gets busy quickly so sometimes it's hard to find a spot.

It's wonderful to have this place up here serving careful, crafted cups of coffee. The north end has very few places that serve good coffee, opting for the most part for shady, adult-attired coffee shacks on the side of the road. This place brings class and grace to the north-end. A great community hangout, too.

I last reviewed this place when it was Spotted Cow and I still feel like it deserves the 5 stars. I don't know whether they're careful about hiring, having a great customer service training program, or both, but the staff is always friendly and a joy to see. The pace of ordering is quick and efficient - a big improvement over some other coffee shops in the area. The food and drink are still excellent, which isn't easy without a full kitchen. It's my favorite place to visit to relax, write, and decompress.
One new (relatively minor) gripe. The stools at the long window-side table are way too tall. Either make the table taller or get shorter stools. I'm not sure what body type can comfortably sit at this table, but it certainly isn't mine.
In terms of branding, I'm a little confused by the name change. The vibe here hasn't really changed from the previous brand (a good thing in my mind), so the rebrand doesn't make much sense to me. Still, the place is comfortably busy, so I'm not going to argue with the results.
Update: the window seating is definitely better now. Huge kudos to the staff here for recognizing issues and making customer-centric improvements - always the sign of a great business!

One of the better cafes/coffee shops around. They seem to care about beverage quality which is incredibly important. It has a very nice atmosphere. However, they took away my delicious almond flavoring and it makes me sad. So very sad.

The staff is extremely friendly and literally made my day just talking to me as my latte was being made! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
